As new projects continue to onboard, our team of four specialists in Norway is growing\u2014and we are looking for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment with broad interaction across engineering teams, suppliers, clients, and third parties.<\/p>\n<p>In this role, you will be responsible for managing, coordinating, and ensuring the accuracy of all technical documentation flowing in and out of the project organization. You will work closely with engineers and project stakeholders, playing a key role in maintaining compliance with contractual and procedural requirements.<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the company<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>NOV APL, located on His\u00f8y outside Arendal, is a part of NOV Marine &amp; Construction and a global leader in advanced offshore loading and mooring technologies. Our multidisciplinary environment brings together project management and engineering expertise, offering employees the opportunity to work with complex, high-impact projects that shape the future of offshore energy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0What we offer<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Challenging and meaningful work:<\/strong>\u00a0Your role directly supports project quality, compliance, and successful delivery.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Collaborative environment:<\/strong>\u00a0Be part of a supportive, experienced team reporting to the Manager of Document Control.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Opportunity to shape processes:\u00a0<\/strong>Contribute to continuous improvement and help shape how document control is executed across projects.<\/li>\n<li><strong>High level of interaction:<\/strong>\u00a0Work closely with engineers, suppliers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams\u2014no two days are the same.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deliver document control in compliance with internal procedures and contractual project requirements<\/li>\n<li>Register, distribute, and archive, technical documentation securely through internal systems and external client, suppliers and third-party portals.<\/li>\n<li>Quality check of document deliverables received from internal and external parties<\/li>\n<li>Update metadata fields in EDMS based on project input<\/li>\n<li>Implement contractual document control requirements and provide training to the Project Team to ensure full compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in Project meetings<\/li>\n<li>Compile final documentation according to external and internal requirements supervised by Project Engineering Manager<\/li>\n<li>Provide document reports and follow up on project progress<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications and skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Relevant experience from oil &amp; gas industry.<\/li>\n<li>Experience of working with document management systems, preferably Proarc<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and spoken English and Norwegian.<\/li>\n<li>Organized, punctual, and attentive to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Able to work effectively under pressure and take initiative.<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across functions.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated business acumen and proactive problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Drive for results and willingness to learn quickly.<\/li>\n<li>Strong working knowledge of MS Office.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are seeking a detail-driven\u00a0Document Controller\u00a0to join our expanding Document Control team.
