Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

As Technical Superintendent, you will be responsible for:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  • \n

    Managing the technical condition, maintenance, and performance of assigned (C)SOV\u2019s.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Planning, executing, and monitoring preventive and corrective maintenance, including annual and intermediate surveys.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Ensuring compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, ISM, ISPS, and other relevant maritime regulations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Overseeing maintenance and certification of Dynamic Positioning (DP) and motion-compensated gangway systems.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Conducting vessel inspections and condition assessments to ensure operational readiness.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Supporting offshore wind operations by ensuring vessel reliability during turbine access and maintenance campaigns.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Preparing and managing technical budgets (OPEX\/CAPEX) and monitor procurement of spare parts and services.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Planning and supervising dry-dockings, major repairs, and class renewals, from specification and tendering to completion.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Driving continuous improvement in safety, technical performance, and operational efficiency.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Leading or supporting incident investigations and promote a strong QHSSE culture on board and onshore.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

  • \n

    Mentoring and guiding Engineers, Superintendents, and vessel crews.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    \n

    Job Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n

    We are looking for someone who combines technical expertise with operational insights and the ability to connect with people. You bring recognize yourself in the following points:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    • \n

      Bachelor\u2019s degree in Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      STCW Management Level Certificate (Chief Engineer or 2nd Engineer).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      8\u201312 years of technical experience in the marine or offshore industry, including at least 3\u20135 years in a superintendent or senior engineering role.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Proven experience managing DP2 vessels, SOVs, or W2W units in offshore wind or oil & gas operations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Strong knowledge of Class rules, ISM, PMS, and HSE systems.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Experience with fleet management and maintenance software (e.g. Marad).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Excellent leadership, analytical, and organizational skills.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      Valid offshore medical certificate (OGUK or equivalent) and BOSIET \/ FOET with CA-EBS.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n

    • \n

      GWO Basic Safety Training is a plus.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Please note: our new Technical Superintendent has to have a sufficient understanding of the Dutch language \u00e1nd has to be a Dutch resident (to be able to commute to our Rotterdam office).<\/strong><\/p>\n
