Is responsible for his own safety during maintenance duties.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"696\" data-end=\"928\">\n<p data-start=\"698\" data-end=\"928\">Executing all engine room duties which needs to comply to the rules and regulations laid down by the flag state administration, class, IMO, and port state authorities or other legislative requirements (e.g. ISPS &amp; MLC policies).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"929\" data-end=\"1130\">\n<p data-start=\"931\" data-end=\"1130\">Be knowledgeable of operation and maintenance of all lifesaving appliances, fixed firefighting installation, operation of emergency stops devices and shipboard emergency equipment mounted on board.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1131\" data-end=\"1246\">\n<p data-start=\"1133\" data-end=\"1246\">Participating during safety meetings &amp; drills or emergency situations as member of the emergency response team.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1247\" data-end=\"1330\">\n<p data-start=\"1249\" data-end=\"1330\">Be familiar with the vessel\u2019s operations manuals and FMEA as currently updated.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1331\" data-end=\"1567\">\n<p data-start=\"1333\" data-end=\"1567\">Executing safe and efficient test, maintenance, and repairs on all the ship\u2019s machinery, electrical equipment and systems which are operating in an efficient manner to remain safe navigation, DP mode and safe walk-to-work operation.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1568\" data-end=\"1751\">\n<p data-start=\"1570\" data-end=\"1751\">Understanding the DP\/walk-to-work failure modes and the technical consequences of any equipment failure and optimization of the redundancy available in related equipment required.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1752\" data-end=\"1923\">\n<p data-start=\"1754\" data-end=\"1923\">Assisting &amp; complying with internal or external survey audits, by inspection and verification of items of ship\u2019s machinery &amp; equipment, to maintain the vessel\u2019s class.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1924\" data-end=\"2008\">\n<p data-start=\"1926\" data-end=\"2008\">Scheduling repairs and enter all work carried out in planned maintenance system.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2009\" data-end=\"2160\">\n<p data-start=\"2011\" data-end=\"2160\">Technical and administrative management of the Electrical &amp;
