As the (junior) Tactical Project Buyer within our experienced Procurement team, you will be responsible for contracting the necessary products, materials, and services crucial for our shipbuilding projects. You will also perform contract management activities and develop and strengthen relationships with existing suppliers, initiate market research to monitor and report on cost trends your domain. You will also work closely with a team of expert colleagues, helping you to grow and to playing a vital role in ensuring project success through effective procurement. The official job title for this position is Purchaser, a role where you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and gain valuable experience in the coming years.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1132\" data-end=\"1135\" \/>\n<p><strong data-start=\"1137\" data-end=\"1161\">Key accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong data-start=\"1163\" data-end=\"1216\">In this role, your responsibilities will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1218\" data-end=\"1893\">\n<li data-start=\"1218\" data-end=\"1338\">Managing and coordinating the entire procurement process according to established procedures and project boundaries.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1339\" data-end=\"1453\">Initiating market research and fostering supplier development to secure and maintain a reliable supplier base.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1454\" data-end=\"1527\">Researching, qualifying, and evaluating suppliers and subcontractors.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1528\" data-end=\"1632\">Contribute to improvement processes with suppliers, driven by supplier qualification and evaluation.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1633\" data-end=\"1721\">Consolidating and providing reliable data for budgeting and cost price calculations.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1722\" data-end=\"1893\">Contribute to the development and implementation of improvements for standardized processes and framework agreements, and meticulously monitoring and maintaining them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"1895\" data-end=\"1898\" \/>\n<p><strong data-start=\"1900\" data-end=\"1923\">Skills &amp; experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong data-start=\"1925\" data-end=\"1993\">We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1995\" data-end=\"2455\">\n<li data-start=\"1995\" data-end=\"2073\">2+ years of procurement experience, preferably in a technical environment.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2074\" data-end=\"2143\">Bachelor&#8217;s degree in a technical (business administration) field.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2144\" data-end=\"2214\">Nevi-1 and Nevi-2 certifications, or a willingness to obtain them.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2215\" data-end=\"2310\">Negotiation skills, combined with assertiveness and a self-driven, well-organized approach.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2311\" data-end=\"2374\">Good command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2375\" data-end=\"2455\">Excellent references, as a security screening is part of the hiring process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required.
