You will collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and suppliers to ensure the ergonomic integrity of all systems, from design concept to implementation. Your expertise will directly contribute to the performance and well-being of those operating Damen Naval platforms.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"956\" data-end=\"959\" \/>\n<p><strong data-start=\"961\" data-end=\"985\">Key responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"989\" data-end=\"1706\">\n<li data-start=\"989\" data-end=\"1077\">Define and execute Human Factors Engineering (HFE) plans in line with project needs.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1078\" data-end=\"1156\">Conduct ergonomic analyses of ship systems and human-machine interactions.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1157\" data-end=\"1237\">Perform task-based assessments and derive technical requirements for design.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1238\" data-end=\"1307\">Apply Leitmerkmal methods and draft Ergonomic Assessment Reports.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1308\" data-end=\"1403\">Advise on workspace and equipment design to minimize crew workload and maximize efficiency.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1404\" data-end=\"1494\">Support the integration of COTS equipment with a focus on usability and functionality.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1495\" data-end=\"1599\">Identify and improve human-machine interfaces, especially in operational and informational contexts.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1600\" data-end=\"1706\">Collaborate across departments to ensure ergonomic standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"1708\" data-end=\"1711\" \/>\n<p><strong data-start=\"1713\" data-end=\"1736\">Skills &amp; experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1740\" data-end=\"2614\">\n<li data-start=\"1740\" data-end=\"1891\">A relevant bachelor\u2019s degree and experience working with engineers, suppliers, and project stakeholders on large-scale (preferably naval) projects.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1892\" data-end=\"1957\">Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1958\" data-end=\"2066\">Experience with hazard assessments and ergonomic standards, ideally within German regulatory frameworks.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2067\" data-end=\"2144\">Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Office, SAP, IBM DOORS, and 3DX.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2145\" data-end=\"2221\">Previous experience in shipbuilding or the maritime sector is preferred.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2222\" data-end=\"2281\">Fluency in German and English, both spoken and written.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2282\" data-end=\"2324\">Willingness to travel internationally.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2325\" data-end=\"2439\">Permanent EU citizenship and a permanent EU passport (requirement due to the military nature of our projects).<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2440\" data-end=\"2614\">Candidates with EU (work) visa or with (also) a non-EU nationality and\/or passport are not eligible given the requirements imposed by the military nature of our projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"2616\" data-end=\"2619\" \/>\n<p><strong data-start=\"2621\"
