Did you know that the piping systems of a naval vessel consist of more than 5000 valves and fittings?<\/p>\n<p>As Integration Engineer Valves and Fittings, you will collaborate closely with internal teams, suppliers, and subcontractors from proposal to delivery, enhancing system performance, reliability, and compliance with strict requirements.<\/p>\n<p><strong data-start=\"736\" data-end=\"760\">Key accountabilities<\/strong><br data-start=\"760\" data-end=\"763\" \/>As Integration Engineer Valves and Fittings your responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"845\" data-end=\"1943\">\n<li data-start=\"845\" data-end=\"969\">Develop and define system concepts and select optimal valve and fitting configurations during project engineering phases<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"970\" data-end=\"1025\">Participate in multi-disciplinary engineering teams<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1026\" data-end=\"1106\">Prepare and review technical specifications for suppliers and subcontractors<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1107\" data-end=\"1163\">Evaluate quotations and ensure supplier deliverables<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1164\" data-end=\"1301\">Collect and review the provided engineering data from suppliers and make sure these are available for the different engineering teams<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1302\" data-end=\"1397\">Conduct technical integration reviews and testing, focusing on valve and fitting interfaces<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1398\" data-end=\"1587\">Identify shortcomings or improvements for integration of the delivered components into the design and other systems in close cooperation with relevant internal and external stakeholders<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1588\" data-end=\"1679\">Drive continuous integration improvements through validation, testing, and optimisation<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1680\" data-end=\"1790\">Occasionally support factory acceptance testing (FAT), installation, and commissioning (including HAT\/SAT)<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1791\" data-end=\"1867\">Build strong partnerships with suppliers, clients, and regulatory bodies<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1868\" data-end=\"1943\">Share expertise by coaching colleagues and promoting knowledge transfer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong data-start=\"1945\" data-end=\"1968\">Skills &amp; experience<\/strong><br data-start=\"1968\" data-end=\"1971\" \/>For the position of Integration Engineer Valves and Fittings we are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2099\" data-end=\"2901\">\n<li data-start=\"2099\" data-end=\"2170\">MTS or HTS degree in Mechanical, Marine, or related technical field<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2171\" data-end=\"2240\">Thorough knowledge of piping, system integration, and regulations<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2241\" data-end=\"2311\">Experience with valves and fittings in marine or offshore projects<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2312\" data-end=\"2387\">Result-oriented with effective communication and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2388\" data-end=\"2426\">Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2427\" data-end=\"2508\">Experience with CAD tools such as Cadmatic and 3DExperience (Catia) is a plus<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2509\" data-end=\"2587\">Ability to work in the Damen Naval location in Vlissingen, The Netherlands<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2588\" data-end=\"2667\">Excellent references, as a security screening is part of the hiring process<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2668\" data-end=\"2727\">Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2728\" data-end=\"2901\">Candidates with EU (work) visa or with (also) a non-EU nationality and\/or passport are not eligible given the requirements imposed by the military nature of our projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong data-start=\"2903\" data-end=\"2920\">What we offer<\/strong><br data-start=\"2920\" data-end=\"2923\" \/>At Damen Naval, we highly value our employees, and we will support your professional and personal development.
