You will be responsible for analysing specifications, setting up and modelling engineering packages, and ensuring the integration of piping systems meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting the successful completion of complex maritime projects.<\/p>\n<p><strong data-start=\"671\" data-end=\"695\">Key accountabilities<\/strong><br data-start=\"695\" data-end=\"698\" \/>In this role, your responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"750\" data-end=\"1937\">\n<li data-start=\"750\" data-end=\"948\"><strong data-start=\"752\" data-end=\"790\">Analyse and Assess Specifications:<\/strong> Review and evaluate technical requirements for piping systems, ensuring integration aligns with project needs, regulatory standards, and quality benchmarks<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"949\" data-end=\"1135\"><strong data-start=\"951\" data-end=\"987\">Engineering Package Development:<\/strong> Set up and model basic engineering packages for piping systems in a 3D environment, adhering to Damen Naval engineering standards and regulations<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1136\" data-end=\"1313\"><strong data-start=\"1138\" data-end=\"1186\">Detailed Engineering and Production Support:<\/strong> Develop detailed engineering packages and production information based on the basic design, ensuring accuracy and compliance<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1314\" data-end=\"1469\"><strong data-start=\"1316\" data-end=\"1346\">Stakeholder Collaboration:<\/strong> Update engineering packages as needed, providing technical advice and support to both internal and external stakeholders<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1470\" data-end=\"1611\"><strong data-start=\"1472\" data-end=\"1507\">Multi-Disciplinary Interaction:<\/strong> Engage with various disciplines to ensure that piping solutions are optimized for the overall project<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1612\" data-end=\"1751\"><strong data-start=\"1614\" data-end=\"1641\">Project Design Reviews:<\/strong> Identify potential issues, suggest improvements, and contribute to design reviews to ensure project success<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1752\" data-end=\"1937\"><strong data-start=\"1754\" data-end=\"1796\">Compliance and Continuous Improvement:<\/strong> Ensure all designs meet applicable requirements and contribute to the ongoing development and retention of knowledge within the department<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong data-start=\"1939\" data-end=\"1962\">Skills &amp; experience<\/strong><br data-start=\"1962\" data-end=\"1965\" \/>We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2032\" data-end=\"2909\">\n<li data-start=\"2032\" data-end=\"2227\">Relevant technical Bachelor or Master degree combined with at least three years relevant experience in piping systems engineering, ideally gained within shipbuilding or offshore installations<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2228\" data-end=\"2345\">Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD software, with hands-on experience in modelling and designing complex piping systems<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2346\" data-end=\"2481\">Experience in working on high-end vessels, managing complex projects, and ensuring compliance with statutory bodies and regulations<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2482\" data-end=\"2546\">Good command of the English language both written and verbal<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2547\" data-end=\"2659\">Excellent references, as a pre-employment security screening is a standard part of the recruitment procedure<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2660\" data-end=\"2909\">Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required.
