Your work will directly influence production efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and the overall quality of our vessels. Collaborating closely with Operations and Engineering teams, you will play a key role in enhancing the manufacturability of our designs and driving continuous improvement initiatives through your expertise in process optimization.<\/p>\n<p><strong data-start=\"728\" data-end=\"752\">Key accountabilities<\/strong><br data-start=\"752\" data-end=\"755\" \/>In this role, your responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"807\" data-end=\"1799\">\n<li data-start=\"807\" data-end=\"932\">Design, develop, and continuously improve manufacturing processes for critical naval components and shipbuilding projects<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"933\" data-end=\"1091\">Optimize existing manufacturing processes to achieve tangible increases in productivity, significant cost reductions, and elevated overall product quality<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1092\" data-end=\"1244\">Collaborate seamlessly with Operations and Engineering to ensure a high-performing, integrated end-to-end process from design to final manufacturing<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1245\" data-end=\"1391\">Proactively identify manufacturing process risks and architect robust mitigation strategies to safeguard production and ensure project success<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1392\" data-end=\"1587\">Lead the identification of inefficiencies and quality deviations in production, then implement impactful process improvements using Lean\/Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous excellence<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1588\" data-end=\"1799\">Establish and meticulously document comprehensive manufacturing processes and best practices, ensuring invaluable knowledge retention and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organization<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong data-start=\"1801\" data-end=\"1824\">Skills &amp; experience<\/strong><br data-start=\"1824\" data-end=\"1827\" \/>We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1894\" data-end=\"2950\">\n<li data-start=\"1894\" data-end=\"2067\">Experience in developing and optimizing complex manufacturing processes, ideally in shipbuilding or related heavy industry, with a proven record of tangible improvements<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2068\" data-end=\"2195\">Proficient in applying Lean\/Six Sigma methodologies to identify inefficiencies and implement effective process improvements<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2196\" data-end=\"2353\">Good collaboration and communication skills to effectively partner with Operations, Engineering, and other departments, ensuring seamless production flow<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2354\" data-end=\"2512\">Proven ability to identify and mitigate potential manufacturing risks, coupled with experience in documenting processes and ensuring regulatory compliance<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2513\" data-end=\"2620\">Relevant technical degree (Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering) and fluency in English<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2621\" data-end=\"2700\">Excellent references, as a security screening is part of the hiring process<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2701\" data-end=\"2950\">Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required.
