This includes activities related to the project definition, engineering, interfacing, installation, verification, and acceptance of the relevant combat systems for large design and build projects. This ensures a successful integration of the various combat systems into an effective naval combat suite for the developed ships and optionally the related land-based facilities that Damen Naval delivers to its customers.<\/p>\n<p><strong data-start=\"887\" data-end=\"911\">Key accountabilities<\/strong><br data-start=\"911\" data-end=\"914\" \/>In this role, your responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"966\" data-end=\"2061\">\n<li data-start=\"966\" data-end=\"1122\">Manage, coordinate, and facilitate multiple subcontractors &amp; suppliers during preparation and execution of a project with focus on short and medium term<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1123\" data-end=\"1304\">Ensure full compliance of the Combat Systems products and services with all applicable requirements and specifications within agreed schedules, required quality, and cost limits<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1305\" data-end=\"1426\">Take ownership of integration activities in complex medium value projects and manage the corresponding subcontractors<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1427\" data-end=\"1477\">Organize and\/or participate in project reviews<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1478\" data-end=\"1612\">Secure the execution and synchronization of project activities related to all deliverables and obligations of the subcontractor(s)<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1613\" data-end=\"1724\">Participate, as accepting party, during contractual milestones, tests and trials, such as FAT, HAT, and SAT<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1725\" data-end=\"1807\">Assist the warranty authority on all warranty issues that have been identified<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1808\" data-end=\"1891\">Support in proposal evaluations, technical evaluations, and cost\/price analyses<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1892\" data-end=\"2061\">Assist, and may become, the Combat System Integrator (CSI) in defining, establishing, and validating (the testing of) all relevant functional and physical interfaces<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong data-start=\"2063\" data-end=\"2086\">Skills &amp; experience<\/strong><br data-start=\"2086\" data-end=\"2089\" \/>We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2156\" data-end=\"3299\">\n<li data-start=\"2156\" data-end=\"2315\">5+ years of technical subcontract management experience dealing with international sub-contractors, preferably acquired in the naval or shipbuilding sector<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2316\" data-end=\"2438\">Relevant knowledge and experience with highly complex (combat) systems, preferably in the shipbuilding or naval sector<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2439\" data-end=\"2579\">Solid communication skills and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2580\" data-end=\"2674\">Good contract management skills and affinity with legal language and technical terminology<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2675\" data-end=\"2729\">Bachelor&#8217;s or Master&#8217;s degree in a technical field<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2730\" data-end=\"2815\">Good project management experience, ideally with project management qualification<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2816\" data-end=\"2935\">Excellent command of the English language; Dutch and\/or German language knowledge or willingness to learn is a plus<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2936\" data-end=\"3046\">Excellent references, as a pre-employment security screening is standard part of the recruitment procedure<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3047\" data-end=\"3299\">Permanent EU citizenship and passport are both required.
