You ensure that these advanced naval vessels are equipped with reliable, safe, and regulation-compliant electrical systems.<\/p>\n<p>Your work includes designing power distribution networks, defining load balances, and integrating high-end systems with strict EMC and redundancy requirements, ensuring the ship remains operational in the most demanding conditions.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"750\" data-end=\"753\" \/>\n<p><strong data-start=\"755\" data-end=\"779\">Key Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In this role, your responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"836\" data-end=\"1995\">\n<li data-start=\"836\" data-end=\"1014\">Develop functional descriptions, drawings, and other basic engineering documents for power distribution, lighting, and other electrical systems specific to the ASWF frigates.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1015\" data-end=\"1193\">Develop and maintain specification documents for all electrical components and installation processes, ensuring compliance with military and classification society standards.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1194\" data-end=\"1392\">Write detailed test and validation plans to guarantee compliance with Class regulations and project-specific requirements during virtual testing (simulations) and physical tests (FAT, HAT, SAT).<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1393\" data-end=\"1526\">Manage and coordinate vendors and subcontractors to ensure timely and high-quality contributions aligned with ASWF project goals.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1527\" data-end=\"1655\">Review vendor and subcontractor designs and integrate their deliverables seamlessly into the ship\u2019s electrical architecture.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1656\" data-end=\"1789\">Develop and update standards and working methods for detailed electrical engineering and commissioning within the ASWF framework.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1790\" data-end=\"1892\">Support proposal phases by developing conceptual electrical designs and providing technical input.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1893\" data-end=\"1995\">Provide technical support and participate in commissioning activities for projects under contract.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"1997\" data-end=\"2000\" \/>\n<p><strong data-start=\"2002\" data-end=\"2025\">Skills &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2097\" data-end=\"2979\">\n<li data-start=\"2097\" data-end=\"2269\">3+ years of experience designing complex electrical systems, including large power distribution networks, preferably in maritime, offshore, or defence-related projects.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2270\" data-end=\"2383\">Proven track record working on complex multidisciplinary projects with multiple suppliers and subcontractors.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2384\" data-end=\"2471\">Experience in model-based system engineering (MBSE) environments using the V-model.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2472\" data-end=\"2566\">Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2567\" data-end=\"2694\">Experience designing EMC-compliant electrical systems; knowledge of TEMPEST or similar military standards is a strong plus.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2695\" data-end=\"2784\">Excellent references; security screening is mandatory due to project confidentiality.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2785\" data-end=\"2979\">Permanent EU citizenship and passport are required, in line with the military nature of the ASWF project.
