Depending on the vessel\u2019s configuration, your electrical design will include a strictly EMC-compliant power distribution system for strategic defensive and deterrent systems\u2014even under the most demanding conditions.<\/p>\n<p>You will work and collaborate according to the V-model within our 3DExperience engineering environment, ensuring that basic and detailed designs are thoroughly reviewed, tested, and verified during both the design and production phases. The highlight of your work? The launch of a new naval vessel, ready to defend freedom worldwide!<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1058\" data-end=\"1061\" \/>\n<p><strong data-start=\"1063\" data-end=\"1087\">Key Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In this role, your responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1144\" data-end=\"2278\">\n<li data-start=\"1144\" data-end=\"1295\">Contributing to functional descriptions, drawings, and other basic design documents for power distribution, lighting, and other electrical systems.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1296\" data-end=\"1414\">Participating in the ship\u2019s Integrated Topside Design (ITD) to ensure all (military) equipment operates correctly.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1415\" data-end=\"1558\">Ensuring compliance with Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), one of the most important design requirements within the overall ship design.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1559\" data-end=\"1750\">Preparing detailed test and validation plans to ensure compliance with Class regulations and customer requirements during virtual tests (simulations) and practical trials (FAT, HAT, SAT).<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1751\" data-end=\"1846\">Managing suppliers and subcontractors to ensure their designs meet strict EMC requirements.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1847\" data-end=\"1960\">Reviewing designs from suppliers and subcontractors and assisting in integrating them into the ship\u2019s design.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1961\" data-end=\"2056\">Developing and maintaining standards and working methods for engineering and commissioning.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2057\" data-end=\"2200\">Supporting proposal and quotation stages to ensure EMC requirements are fully integrated into the conceptual designs of electrical systems.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2201\" data-end=\"2278\">Providing technical support or participating in commissioning activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"2280\" data-end=\"2283\" \/>\n<p><strong data-start=\"2285\" data-end=\"2308\">Skills &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2376\" data-end=\"3170\">\n<li data-start=\"2376\" data-end=\"2561\">Minimum of 3 years\u2019 experience in designing complex electrical systems, including large-scale power distribution systems, preferably in the maritime, offshore, or industrial sector.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2562\" data-end=\"2664\">Experience in designing EMC-compliant solutions; knowledge of TEMPEST regulations is an advantage.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2665\" data-end=\"2797\">Professional experience working on complex projects involving multidisciplinary teams and multiple suppliers and subcontractors.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2798\" data-end=\"2901\">Experience working in a model-based system engineering (MBSE) environment according to the V-model.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2902\" data-end=\"2996\">Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2997\" data-end=\"3087\">Excellent references, as a security screening will be part of the recruitment process.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3088\" data-end=\"3170\">Permanent EU nationality, required due to the military nature of our projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"3172\" data-end=\"3175\" \/>\n<p><strong data-start=\"3177\" data-end=\"3194\">What We Offer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At Damen Naval, we highly value our employees and support professional and personal development.
