Depending on the vessel\u2019s configuration, your design work will include EMC-compliant power distribution systems for strategic defensive and deterrent systems\u2014even under the most demanding operational conditions.<\/p>\n<p>You will work according to the <strong data-start=\"618\" data-end=\"677\">V-model within our 3DExperience engineering environment<\/strong>, ensuring that both basic and detailed designs are thoroughly reviewed, tested, and verified during the design and production phases. The highlight of your work? The launch of a new naval vessel, ready to defend freedom worldwide.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"912\" data-end=\"915\" \/>\n<p><strong data-start=\"917\" data-end=\"941\">Key Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In this role, you will be responsible for:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"991\" data-end=\"2092\">\n<li data-start=\"991\" data-end=\"1142\">Contributing to functional descriptions, drawings, and other basic design documents for power distribution, lighting, and other electrical systems.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1143\" data-end=\"1259\">Participating in the ship\u2019s Integrated Topside Design (ITD) to ensure all military equipment operates correctly.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1260\" data-end=\"1393\">Ensuring compliance with Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) requirements, one of the most critical aspects of naval ship design.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1394\" data-end=\"1588\">Preparing detailed test and validation plans to guarantee compliance with Class regulations and customer requirements during virtual tests (simulations) and practical trials (FAT, HAT, SAT).<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1589\" data-end=\"1684\">Managing suppliers and subcontractors to ensure their designs meet strict EMC requirements.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1685\" data-end=\"1805\">Reviewing vendor and subcontractor designs and supporting their integration into the ship\u2019s electrical architecture.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1806\" data-end=\"1901\">Developing and maintaining standards and working methods for engineering and commissioning.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1902\" data-end=\"2001\">Supporting proposal and quotation stages to integrate EMC requirements into conceptual designs.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2002\" data-end=\"2092\">Providing technical support and participating in commissioning activities as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"2094\" data-end=\"2097\" \/>\n<p><strong data-start=\"2099\" data-end=\"2122\">Skills &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are seeking candidates who meet the following requirements:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2192\" data-end=\"2977\">\n<li data-start=\"2192\" data-end=\"2374\">Minimum of 3 years\u2019 experience in designing complex electrical systems, including large-scale power distribution systems, preferably in maritime, offshore, or industrial sectors.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2375\" data-end=\"2480\">Experience designing EMC-compliant solutions; knowledge of TEMPEST regulations is a strong advantage.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2481\" data-end=\"2604\">Professional experience working on complex, multidisciplinary projects involving multiple suppliers and subcontractors.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2605\" data-end=\"2709\">Experience working in a model-based systems engineering (MBSE) environment according to the V-model.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2710\" data-end=\"2804\">Bachelor\u2019s or Master\u2019s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2805\" data-end=\"2892\">Excellent references; a security screening will be part of the recruitment process.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2893\" data-end=\"2977\">Permanent EU nationality is required due to the military nature of the projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"2979\" data-end=\"2982\" \/>\n<p><strong data-start=\"2984\" data-end=\"3001\">What We Offer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At Damen Naval, we highly value our employees and support both professional and personal development.
