Damen works with multidisciplinary project teams led by a Project Manager (or Tender Manager).<\/p>\n<p>Within the project team, the Project Purchaser is <strong data-start=\"637\" data-end=\"658\">QLTCR responsible<\/strong> for all supply chain activities. In addition to procuring scopes, the Project Purchaser is accountable for the entire project\u2019s Supply Chain team, which is distributed across several entities both in the Netherlands and abroad.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"890\" data-end=\"893\" \/>\n<p><strong data-start=\"895\" data-end=\"919\">Key Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"923\" data-end=\"2467\">\n<li data-start=\"923\" data-end=\"1056\"><strong data-start=\"925\" data-end=\"950\">QLTCR Responsibility:<\/strong> Quality, Logistics, Time, Cost, Risk responsibility for all supply chain activities within the project.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1057\" data-end=\"1155\"><strong data-start=\"1059\" data-end=\"1079\">Team Leadership:<\/strong> Leading the project Supply Chain team and supporting the Project Manager.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1156\" data-end=\"1364\"><strong data-start=\"1158\" data-end=\"1185\">Supplier Communication:<\/strong> Based on engineering information, communicate with suppliers and optimize specifications and quotations together with engineering and suppliers for customer-specific equipment.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1365\" data-end=\"1608\"><strong data-start=\"1367\" data-end=\"1396\">Negotiation &amp; Purchasing:<\/strong> Negotiating, contracting, and purchasing (large) packages including standard materials, installations, equipment, semi-finished products, main components, and parts as part of a multidisciplinary project team.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1609\" data-end=\"1743\"><strong data-start=\"1611\" data-end=\"1636\">Supplier Development:<\/strong> Proactively suggest purchasing alternatives, develop new suppliers, and maintain existing relationships.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1744\" data-end=\"1864\"><strong data-start=\"1746\" data-end=\"1768\">Project Reporting:<\/strong> Participate in and report QLTCR status during multidisciplinary newbuilding project meetings.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1865\" data-end=\"1970\"><strong data-start=\"1867\" data-end=\"1893\">Supply Chain Planning:<\/strong> Create, execute, and maintain a supply chain plan within the project team.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1971\" data-end=\"2146\"><strong data-start=\"1973\" data-end=\"2003\">Purchase Order Management:<\/strong> Issue purchase orders and monitor fulfillment of delivery obligations and contractual agreements; proactively resolve issues with suppliers.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2147\" data-end=\"2274\"><strong data-start=\"2149\" data-end=\"2175\">ERP System Management:<\/strong> Ensure correct registration and maintenance of project (part) information within the ERP system.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2275\" data-end=\"2467\"><strong data-start=\"2277\" data-end=\"2304\">Continuous Improvement:<\/strong> Actively contribute to supply chain improvement activities to optimize processes and performance, suggesting enhancements based on analysis and measurable KPIs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"2469\" data-end=\"2472\" \/>\n<p><strong data-start=\"2474\" data-end=\"2497\">Skills &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2501\" data-end=\"3481\">\n<li data-start=\"2501\" data-end=\"2561\">Completed technical and\/or commercial Bachelor\u2019s degree.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2562\" data-end=\"2610\">NEVI I certification, NEVI II is preferable.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2611\" data-end=\"2722\">Minimum of 5 years relevant work experience, preferably within Naval Architecture \/ Mechanical Engineering.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2723\" data-end=\"2776\">Willingness to travel, including internationally.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2777\" data-end=\"2850\">Excellent negotiation skills with respect for supplier relationships.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2851\" data-end=\"2970\">Experience working with ERP systems (preferably IFS and\/or SAP), PowerBI, and MS Office (Teams, SharePoint, Excel).<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2971\" data-end=\"3052\">Knowledge and experience in optimizing and supporting supply chain processes.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3053\" data-end=\"3113\">Good oral and written command of both Dutch and English.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3114\" data-end=\"3206\">Strong sense of commercial awareness, excellent communication, and team-building skills.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3207\" data-end=\"3278\">Analytical, result-driven mindset; service-oriented and supportive.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3279\" data-end=\"3481\">For Defence &amp; Security PMC procurement activities, pre-employment security screening may be required due to the military nature of these projects.
