The Occupational Hygienist is a position that supports the organization and project teams with occupational health requirements.<\/p>\n<p>Together with your HSE colleagues, you will be the ambassador of our Dare to Care mindset, HSE principles, and focus on continual improvement of HSE systems, processes, and reporting.<\/p>\n<p>Have we mentioned that you will get the chance to spend some time abroad and offshore as well? Do you want to add value by providing support to project teams, engaging with clients, advising and training crew on our vessels, and spending time in places all over the world? Are you looking for a role where you can continuously learn and grow and actively contribute towards the continual improvement of the company?<\/p>\n<p><strong data-start=\"981\" data-end=\"1012\">What you will be working on<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1016\" data-end=\"2059\">\n<li data-start=\"1016\" data-end=\"1139\">Advise all company and\/or project-specific (subcontractor) personnel on occupational health &amp; safety protection matters<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1140\" data-end=\"1277\">Provide input for project inventory reports with special attention to hazardous materials (incl. e.g., NORM, Asbestos, Mercury, etc.)<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1278\" data-end=\"1401\">Set up and maintain a database with exposure values and PPE requirements for all relevant offshore (project) activities<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1402\" data-end=\"1536\">Prepare (project) health monitoring plans (nature, exposure level, and duration of working with hazardous materials, among others)<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1537\" data-end=\"1663\">Recommend control measures to minimize exposure and develop strategies to control hazards at the workplace during projects<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1664\" data-end=\"1845\">Provide support related to occupational hygiene during the execution of (decommissioning) projects; accurately measuring and sampling levels of exposure through approved methods<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1846\" data-end=\"2059\">Monitor the potential exposure to harmful substances in the workplace and legal requirements regarding occupational hygiene and communicate these results to the relevant people (company and\/or project related)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong data-start=\"2061\" data-end=\"2092\">Key ingredients for success<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2096\" data-end=\"2523\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">\n<li data-start=\"2096\" data-end=\"2260\">Competency to implement monitoring strategy, carry out health monitoring, interpret results, and undertake risk assessments with risk management recommendations<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2261\" data-end=\"2322\">Post-Bachelor degree in Occupational \/ Industrial Hygiene<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2323\" data-end=\"2394\">Completed radiation protection training (RPE \/ RPO) is an advantage<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2395\" data-end=\"2523\" data-is-last-node=\"\">5\u20137 years\u2019 experience, preferably offshore and decommissioning-related in the oil and gas industry or similar work environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Your role in the story In the exciting world of the offshore industry, occupational health is one of our number one priorities!
