You use your experience with vessel design, modification, repair and maintenance, equipment inspections, and equipment certificates to help us achieve safe and efficient operations both on- and offshore. You identify critical maintenance periods and projects that require investment. Furthermore, you assist the Equipment Manager in coordinating the planning and coordinate (E&amp;I related) maintenance and investment projects from onshore.<\/p>\n<p><strong data-start=\"613\" data-end=\"674\">As Technical Superintendent E&amp;I your daily activities are<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"678\" data-end=\"2304\">\n<li data-start=\"678\" data-end=\"801\">Providing an on-time, safe, reliable, and cost-effective technical E&amp;I service for safe operation of the assigned asset<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"802\" data-end=\"963\">Liaising closely with the Chief Engineer, Chief Electrician, and the MAE to ensure the E&amp;I equipment is operated efficiently and maintained in good condition<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"964\" data-end=\"1077\">Identifying, managing, and monitoring risks and specifying upgrade projects according to predefined standards<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1078\" data-end=\"1193\">Writing scopes of work and developing repair and maintenance schedules for E&amp;I related maintenance and upgrades<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1194\" data-end=\"1285\">Coordinating and monitoring the validity of certification within the legal requirements<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1286\" data-end=\"1476\">Supporting the Equipment Manager in planning coordination for R&amp;M and Equipment investment programs with Vessel Management Team and Operational Manager to limit critical maintenance time<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1477\" data-end=\"1522\">Control and execution of approved budgets<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1523\" data-end=\"1633\">Participating in design, engineering, commissioning, and testing of electrical installations and equipment<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1634\" data-end=\"1688\">Managing and visiting suppliers and subcontractors<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1689\" data-end=\"1838\">Ensuring suitable and qualified personnel and actively promoting HSE \/ Dare to Care awareness and safeguarding compliance with company procedures<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1839\" data-end=\"1960\">Ensuring the compliance of the electrical equipment with the rules and regulations of classification agencies and IMO<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1961\" data-end=\"2113\">Providing specialist advice and recommendations on all important electrical issues to improve and increase customer service and organizational value<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2114\" data-end=\"2185\">Following up on purchase orders of any required service or material<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2186\" data-end=\"2304\">Development and maintenance of technical knowledge and capabilities to ensure availability of up-to-date expertise<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong data-start=\"2306\" data-end=\"2324\">Team structure<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As Technical Superintendent E&amp;I you are part of the Equipment Department, led by the Director Equipment. You will report directly to one of the vessel Equipment Managers who manages a team of (Sr.) Technical Superintendents.
