Within your product line, you will lead a team that provides technical work preparation for product development, studies, tenders, and projects, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement innovative and efficient solutions. Depending on your product line, your responsibilities will include contributing to the safe and efficient execution of complex offshore operations:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"573\" data-end=\"989\">\n<li data-start=\"573\" data-end=\"677\">In Decommissioning, you will be involved in the safe and responsible removal of offshore structures.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"678\" data-end=\"822\">In Wind, you will play a key role in the global energy transition by providing technical preparation and support for offshore wind projects.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"823\" data-end=\"989\">In Transport &amp; Installation, you will work on challenging projects involving the transportation and installation of large offshore structures and complex modules.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Your expertise will ensure the successful execution of these projects, driving innovation and efficiency across each operation and finding synergies together with your peers.<\/p>\n<p><strong data-start=\"1169\" data-end=\"1200\">What you will be working on<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1204\" data-end=\"2006\">\n<li data-start=\"1204\" data-end=\"1264\">Leading a team of enthusiastic engineering professionals<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1265\" data-end=\"1408\">Planning, coordination, and control of assigned work and definition of required resources and competences for own people and subcontractors<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1409\" data-end=\"1563\">Developing offshore execution methods for offshore projects, nomination of required equipment, concept and detail design of lifting arrangements, etc.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1564\" data-end=\"1666\">Performing engineering, technical project preparation, and execution support for offshore projects<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1667\" data-end=\"1776\">Reviewing and organizing review of internal and external deliverables (drawings, reports, and procedures)<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1777\" data-end=\"1915\">Performing technical management of subcontractors from specification to completion of function test of equipment and hand-over to user<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1916\" data-end=\"2006\">Preparing cost-effective tenders or working on future developments to shape the market<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong data-start=\"2008\" data-end=\"2039\">Key ingredients for success<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As a (Senior) Project Engineer, you thrive in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Furthermore, you have:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2880\" data-end=\"3445\">\n<li data-start=\"2880\" data-end=\"3019\">A higher professional education in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Maritime Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3020\" data-end=\"3148\">A minimum of 8 years\u2019 experience in engineering, project preparation, and execution of offshore and\/or construction projects<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3149\" data-end=\"3206\">Excellent analytical, practical, and pragmatic skills<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3207\" data-end=\"3272\">Good communication skills in English, both spoken and written<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3273\" data-end=\"3347\">Supervisory and coaching skills to provide guidance to other engineers<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3348\" data-end=\"3445\">The ambition to work (temporarily) at yards, offshore on our vessels, or in our other offices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong data-start=\"3447\" data-end=\"3466\">Specific skills<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3470\" data-end=\"4166\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">\n<li data-start=\"3470\" data-end=\"3597\">Experience in taking the lead in projects and ability to make decisions within your project(s) and lead a team of engineers<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3598\" data-end=\"3760\">Ability to provide structure to unstructured scopes of work and identify technical opportunities taking into account the overall context of marine contracting<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3761\" data-end=\"3880\">Well-developed analytical skills to understand, assess, and challenge developments beyond own core technical domain<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3881\" data-end=\"3952\">Ability to interface with experts in relevant technical disciplines<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3953\" data-end=\"4004\">Understanding of commercial drivers in projects<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4005\" data-end=\"4089\">Comprehensive understanding of technology relevant to the offshore energy market<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4090\" data-end=\"4166\" data-is-last-node=\"\">Knowledge of, and affinity with, innovations in the offshore energy market<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Your role in the story As a (Senior) Project Engineer, you will be an integral part of one of our product lines: Decommissioning, Wind, or Transport &amp; Installation.
