That means you will have the space to develop yourself into an all-round Senior Engineer with knowledge of various disciplines or you will focus on Design or Structural Engineering.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What do we expect of you?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As a Senior Mechanical Engineer you contribute to potential project innovations and you make a proactive contribution to the further development of our Engineering capabilities.<\/p>\n<p>This means you will be responsible for:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Modeling (FEM) and calculation of mechanical designs for heavy (offshore) systems;<\/li>\n<li>Making system, basic and detailed designs;<\/li>\n<li>Defining specifications for purchased parts;<\/li>\n<li>Designing with a focus on: material usage, dimensions\/weight,<\/li>\n<li>Functionality lifetime and maintenance access;<\/li>\n<li>Performing detailed calculations to optimize designs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Wondering if you are &#8216;equipped for impact&#8217;?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proactive and familiar with new developments within your expertise;<br \/>\nan excellent communicator;<\/li>\n<li>A team player, you enjoy working in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams and have the ability to work independently;<\/li>\n<li>Flexible and creative;<\/li>\n<li>Client oriented and focused;<\/li>\n<li>Practical, accurate and punctual;<\/li>\n<li>Living in the Enschede region (max. 50 km one way).
