Iv focuses on the design and construction supervision of all water-related projects, including drinking water, industrial water, wastewater and water level management. Due to the growth of our activities in this field, we are looking for an enthusiastic Lead Mechanical Engineer<\/strong>. In this role, you are responsible for the design and engineering of mechanical and installation-technical components within a wide range of projects.You will work in multidisciplinary teams together with colleagues from civil engineering, electrical engineering and instrumentation. Your responsibilities include preparing cost estimates, drafting specifications and translating these into mechanical design notes and tender documents. The projects you will mainly work on include:<\/p>\n
    \n
  • polder and drainage pumping stations<\/li>\n
  • locks and weirs<\/li>\n
  • (waste)water treatment plants<\/li>\n
  • sewage pumping stations<\/li>\n
  • associated (pressure) pipelines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Experience with one or more of these assets is essential. Experience with design work in Autodesk applications is considered a plus.Working on water challenges<\/strong>In the field of water, we face a dual challenge. For example, Iv has developed the CO\u2082 tool, which calculates CO\u2082 reductions in water treatment processes.     • a bachelor\u2019s or master\u2019s degree in Mechanical Engineering<\/li>\n
    • approximately five to ten years of relevant work experience in similar projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
