In this role, you&#8217;ll help our clients with their subsea cable projects, making sure everything runs safely, efficiently, and according to the latest standards and insights.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Anchoring Your Impact:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Design power cables:<\/strong>\u00a0Perform conceptual design and develop specifications for submarine power cables.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Strategical direction:<\/strong>\u00a0Create owners\u2019 strategies for cable purchase, manufacturing, installation, operation and maintenance.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Review and align requirements:<\/strong>\u00a0Evaluate the requirements, coordinate with and align stakeholders to achieve a cost-efficient set of employer requirements.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cable production control:<\/strong>\u00a0Specify cable design &amp; test requirements, review production documentation, factory audits, act as employer\u2019s representative during cable production and tests.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Support IT and tender process:<\/strong>\u00a0Develop tender documents, evaluate offers, supplier audits and technically support the contracting process.<\/li>\n<li><strong>State-of-the art:\u00a0<\/strong>stay ahead of the industry by participating in international conferences, communities etc. Learn from mistakes: technically lead cable fault investigations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"sc-1fwbcuw-0 jsIRkK\">\n<div><strong>You\u2019ve got it:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You are an experienced HV Cable Engineer with 7+ years of experience in the following topics: cable design, new developments, specifications, production documentation, test programs, ITP documentation, manufacturing, quality surveillance, cable handling, audits etc.<\/li>\n<li>You have an academic master degree in\u00a0<strong>electrical engineering<\/strong>\u00a0or similar.<\/li>\n<li>You are driven to be the go-to person in your field of expertise, always ahead of the game and constantly on the lookout for more, new knowledge. A big plus if you love to indulge yourself in sustainability topics.<\/li>\n<li>Your communication skills? We value them highly. From making a difference in owner&#8217;s strategies to negotiations with authorities, you know how to get your point across and communicate openly.
