You will ensure the safety of all personnel on board, conducting regular safety drills and promoting a positive safety culture, alongside the following duties:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"BulletListStyle1 SCXW139605176 BCX8\">\n<li>Undertake safe and efficient navigation, manoeuvring and operation of the vessel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"BulletListStyle1 SCXW139605176 BCX8\">\n<li>Adhere to the company Safety Management System, ISM code and applicable shipping rules and regulations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"BulletListStyle1 SCXW139605176 BCX8\">\n<li>Complete the annual Master review, periodical inspections and maintenance of the vessel and its equipment in accordance with maintenance procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"BulletListStyle1 SCXW139605176 BCX8\">\n<li>Deliver a professional service from start to finish when transferring technicians and maintain clear and effective communication with all stakeholders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"BulletListStyle1 SCXW139605176 BCX8\">\n<li>Undertake on-board administration, recordkeeping and reporting to the office<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"BulletListStyle1 SCXW139605176 BCX8\">\n<li>Undertake training as applicable and conduct and participate in emergency drills to ensure people on board are prepared to respond to emergency situations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"BulletListStyle1 SCXW139605176 BCX8\">\n<li>Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of the vessel and assist engineers with vessel maintenance as and when required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"BulletListStyle1 SCXW139605176 BCX8\">\n<li>Lead and manage the Saving Appliances (LSA).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul class=\"BulletListStyle1 SCXW161824354 BCX8\">\n<li>Knowledge of propulsion systems and their maintenance, including diesel engines, generators and
