Winthrop specialises in providing\u00a0<strong>Turnkey Data Centre Solutions<\/strong>, providing services from design, through to construction across the full range of civil, structural, architectural, mechanical and electrical services as well as commissioning.<\/p>\n<p>We are pleased to announce that we have a vacancy for a\u00a0<strong>Mechanical Supervisor\u00a0<\/strong>to join our on-site team in Portugal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Taking a lead role in promoting safe working practices across all trades on site<\/li>\n<li>Leading weekly toolbox talks and keeping safety a daily focus on site<\/li>\n<li>Carrying out regular safety inspections, audits and walkdowns, and closing out any actions<\/li>\n<li>Managing and walking down QA of mechanical works to confirm installations meet drawings, specs and standards<\/li>\n<li>Completing inspections, snagging works and signing off QA documentation<\/li>\n<li>Preparing weekly progress reports that clearly set out progress and any issues<\/li>\n<li>Coordinating mechanical works with other trades to avoid clashes and delays<\/li>\n<li>Producing two-week look-a-head programmes for upcoming activities<\/li>\n<li>Managing labour levels in line with the programme<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining high quality standards across all mechanical installations<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring subcontractor performance and addressing issues early<\/li>\n<li>Flagging variations, delays or risks to your line manager as they arise<\/li>\n<li>Checking that plant and materials meet project specifications<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring materials are stored safely and securely on site<\/li>\n<li>Confirming all subcontractor plant and access equipment is certified and fit for use<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years\u2019 experience as a Mechanical Supervisor.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with contractors and stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, ideally within a data center environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<section class=\"styles--3vx-H\" aria-labelledby=\"job-benefits-title\" data-ui=\"job-benefits\"><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Working on large scale data centre projects<\/li>\n<li>Collaborative team working environments<\/li>\n<li>Career progression and development supported<\/li>\n<li>Competitive salary packages<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Winthrop is a dedicated Data Centre Construction company providing turnkey solutions to our clients, headquartered in Dublin and delivering throughout Europe.
