Applicants should have a background in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or similar and evidence of relevant work experience in a relatable field.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We are looking to hire someone with 1-3 years\u2019 experience\u00a0based in central<strong> Edinburgh, Glasgow or Cork.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you will do<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Use and develop best practice financial models to evaluate new and existing onshore wind, solar PV and storage projects as well as other business development activities;<\/li>\n<li>Assist with documenting project business cases &amp; supporting analysis that feeds into acquisition opportunities and internal investment decision papers;<\/li>\n<li>Engage with colleagues to understand and evaluate project risks and opportunities;<\/li>\n<li>Support the cash flow reporting of pipeline projects by liaising with Project Managers and Finance Team on a regular basis;<\/li>\n<li>Support in the assessment of route to market opportunities alongside the Energy Markets Manager;<\/li>\n<li>Support the set-up and management of an internal database of project benchmarks to ensure valuation inputs are robust and consistent;<\/li>\n<li>Regularly engage with colleagues internally across the BayWa r.e.
