At AFRY, you will become a key employee and one of the driving forces in our continued development. AFRY\u2019s Bridge Section in Norway consists of 30 employees, located in offices in Trondheim and Oslo. We also have a network of over 100 bridge professionals across the Nordic region. Our daily work is characterized by collaboration across locations and national borders.<\/p>\n<p>The Bridge Section is part of the Transportation business area, a team of 139 employees specializing in bridges, roads, water and wastewater, geotechnics, engineering geology, environmental geology, and project development. It\u2019s a forward-thinking group with a high level of job satisfaction and great development opportunities for each individual. We continuously work on development in areas such as work methodology, project execution, sustainability, and parametric design. As a senior bridge engineer, you will naturally contribute to this work and have significant influence.<\/p>\n<p><strong data-start=\"1041\" data-end=\"1075\">Your key responsibilities are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1078\" data-end=\"1271\">\n<li data-start=\"1078\" data-end=\"1142\">Designing all types of structures in infrastructure projects<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1143\" data-end=\"1205\">Innovation to further improve our professional environment<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1206\" data-end=\"1271\">Actively contributing to knowledge sharing within the section<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Our projects range from large infrastructure projects like E105 Gj\u00f8nnestunnelen, E18 Langangen\u2013Rugtvedt, and Farriseidet\u2013Telemark border (Vestfold Railway) to other bridge projects like Tunna Bridge, Frogner Bridges, Saupstad Bridge and Loftesnes Bridge.<\/p>\n<p><strong data-start=\"1529\" data-end=\"1547\">Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong data-start=\"1551\" data-end=\"1565\">Must have:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1568\" data-end=\"1858\">\n<li data-start=\"1568\" data-end=\"1637\">Minimum 5 years of experience in designing bridges and structures<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1638\" data-end=\"1705\">Software skills: Grasshopper\/Rhino and Tekla Structures\/AutoCAD<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1706\" data-end=\"1735\">Minimum bachelor\u2019s degree<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1736\" data-end=\"1774\">Good English skills at B2\u2013C1 level<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1775\" data-end=\"1858\">Teamwork skills and a structured, solution-oriented, quality-conscious approach<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong data-start=\"1860\" data-end=\"1877\">Good to have:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1880\" data-end=\"2180\" data-is-last-node=\"\" data-is-only-node=\"\">\n<li data-start=\"1880\" data-end=\"1987\">Experience with infrastructure projects in Norway and Norwegian handbooks (Statens vegvesens h\u00e5ndb\u00f8ker)<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1988\" data-end=\"2047\">Experience in multidisciplinary infrastructure projects<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2048\" data-end=\"2138\">Good understanding of structural design and ability to see the big picture in projects<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2139\" data-end=\"2180\" data-is-last-node=\"\">Very good English skills at C1\u2013C2 level<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Bridge Section in Oslo is looking for a dedicated and experienced bridge engineer.
