division as a<strong>\u00a0Senior Principal Electrical Engineer.<\/strong>\u00a0 You\u2019ll play a vital role in leading and delivering projects for the nuclear industry while contributing to technical excellence and collaborating with a successful team across the UK.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In this role, you\u2019ll provide technical leadership, guide bids and proposals, and coordinate multidisciplinary resources on a diverse portfolio of exciting frameworks ranging from nuclear, defence, and other energy and infrastructure projects, tackling complex challenges in a collaborative and forward thinking environment!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Act as an Engineering Manager, leading teams to meet client requirements on time, within budget, and to a high standard.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee the electrical building services work on projects, ensuring compliance with company procedures and project standards.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain adherence to safety and quality standards, manage man-hour plans, and meet cost and schedule targets.<\/li>\n<li>Scope and plan electrical building services work, assigning tasks with clear goals for scope, quality, and deadlines.<\/li>\n<li>Lead and mentor electrical building services teams across various projects.<\/li>\n<li>Provide input on project planning, execution, budgets, and resource requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Review and approve deliverables, ensuring they meet quality standards.<\/li>\n<li>Attend engineering meetings and liaise with clients and other disciplines.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with legislation, safety regulations, environmental considerations, and site license conditions.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in design reviews and HAZOPS, offering advice and expertise.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain strong client relationships and collaborate with project and engineering managers.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Significant experience in engineering design within a regulated industry (preferably nuclear).<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to influence engineering practices and outcomes.<\/li>\n<li>Experience leading and supervising engineering teams.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with building regulations, current legislation, and industry standards.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in software tools such as Hevacomp, Dialux, Amtech Power, AutoCAD, and IES (Revit experience is a plus).<\/li>\n<li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Degree in a technical or engineering-related subject (preferred).<\/li>\n<li>Chartered status and membership of a relevant professional
