Our environment is based on respect and having a good day at work, so you can expect to join a knowledgeable, global team who help each other to succeed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Due to continued growth, HMH in Kintore is expanding our Workshop team and seeking a qualified Mechanical Technician to carry out all aspects of repair, overhaul and assembly on a variety of drilling equipment. If you have experience working with subsea pressure control equipment, we want to hear from you!<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Perform disassembly, inspection, assembly and testing of surface and subsea well control equipment<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to risk assessments and toolbox talks<\/li>\n<li>Carry out Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) to Company standards<\/li>\n<li>Ensure timesheets and inspection reports are completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner<\/li>\n<li>Be able to operate forklifts, overhead gantry cranes and vertical lift platforms (following training)<\/li>\n<li>Carry out QC checks as and when required<\/li>\n<li>Perform all job functions in a safe manner<\/li>\n<li>Report and participate in investigation of all unsafe practices and\/or behaviours<\/li>\n<li>Suggest improvements to working practices and HMH product lines<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adherence to all local waste management policies and procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Successful candidates will:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>hold a NVQ Level 3\/HNC or equivalent in a Mechanical Engineering discipline<\/li>\n<li>have a good working knowledge of fluid power systems<\/li>\n<li>Be experienced in high pressure testing (oil and water mediums)<\/li>\n<li>Experience working on BOPs, Annulars, Bonnets and H4 Connectors preferred<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate knowledge of mechanical systems<\/li>\n<li>Have the ability to read schematic and layout drawings<\/li>\n<li>Have a working understanding of API 16a and\/or API STD53 requirements<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of subsea well control equipment, operation and overhaul, would be advantageous<\/li>\n<li>Be able to communicate effectively in English (written and oral)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At HMH we value our employees.
