{"id":11370,"date":"2026-02-12T00:31:12","date_gmt":"2026-01-29T11:26:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/stanowisko\/controls-engineer-m-w-d\/"},"modified":"2026-02-16T07:31:17","modified_gmt":"2026-02-16T06:31:17","slug":"fluence-controls-engineer-m-w-d-london-wielka-brytania","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/en\/?post_type=job_listing&p=11370","title":{"rendered":"Controls Engineer &#8211; (m\/w\/d)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and drive the project team in the realization of project-specific requirements related to BESS control systems, ensuring alignment with technical specifications and standards.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate closely with field engineers to identify, analyse, and resolve controls-related<br \/>\nissues arising during commissioning, testing, and throughout the service phase of BESS<br \/>\ninstallations.<\/li>\n<li>Act as the primary interface with clients and subcontractors on all controls-related topics,<br \/>\nsupporting controls compliance during project execution and leading grid code compliance<br \/>\ntesting activities for the sites in EMEA region.<\/li>\n<li>Perform planned system-level testing, including laboratory testing during system FAT, to<br \/>\nvalidate control functionality and performance before deploying on site.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and execute scheduled software and firmware upgrades for BESS systems in service,<br \/>\nensuring minimal operational downtime and risk through controlled deployment and rollback<br \/>\nstrategies.<\/li>\n<li>Enforce strict change management processes, ensuring all control system modifications are<br \/>\nproperly reviewed, approved, documented, and traceable.<\/li>\n<li>Keep current with all Company products, developments, and projects as they apply to the<br \/>\nControls network at both site and enterprise levels.<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to travel up to 10% annually across the EMEA region<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications and Experience\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s \/ Master\u2019s degree in computer \/ industrial engineering with focus on automation and controls (or equivalent).<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years of relevant Controls\/Software\/programming experience with a power<br \/>\nutility or related industry and the design, operation and maintenance of a power plant.<\/li>\n<li>Extensive knowledge in the electricity transmission\/distribution sector and EMS systems:<\/li>\n<li>Grid code and requirements analysis, development and testing of algorithms for Grid<br \/>\nservices applications.<\/li>\n<li>Extensive knowledge in SCADA protocols: IEC60870-5-101\/103\/104, IEC 61850 MMS,<br \/>\nDNP3, Modbus &amp; TCP\/IP,\u00a0 PLC, Remote Terminal Units (RTUs), SEL Real Time Automation<br \/>\nController (RTAC), SEL Relays &amp; Meters, Siemens Relays &amp; Meters &amp; SCADA Gateways &amp;<br \/>\nData Concentrators.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Linux based systems and commands. High-level programming languages<br \/>\nsuch as Python and shell\/bash scripting.
