This role sits at the critical intersection of Sales, Legal, Finance, and Engineering, ensuring that each proposal and contract meets both customer requirements and Fluence\u2019s commercial standards.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Outcomes<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deliver high-quality proposals and contract packages that support successful deal conversion and order intake.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure proposals and contracts are compliant, complete, and aligned with Fluence\u2019s governance framework.<\/li>\n<li>Streamline tools, templates, and processes to improve speed, quality, and collaboration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Proposal Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the end-to-end proposal preparation process for customer bids, including EPC, supply-only, and service contracts.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee review of RFPs\/RFQs and customer requirements; define proposal strategy and content plan.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with Engineering, Legal, and Finance to develop cost, scope, and risk-aligned proposals.<\/li>\n<li>Review and approve proposal narratives, pricing documentation, and compliance matrices prior to submission.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure all proposals are aligned with Fluence\u2019s commercial strategy and approval requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in customer meetings, clarifications, and bid presentations as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Contract Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage contract documentation during the negotiation and finalisation stages.<\/li>\n<li>Support alignment between proposals, negotiated terms, and final contract execution.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure document control and version tracking, maintaining consistency across all deliverables.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adherence to internal approval workflows and contractual governance.<\/li>\n<li>Provide oversight on risk and scope alignment between commercial and technical documents.<\/li>\n<li>Support Lead Negotiators and Account Managers by coordinating the handover from proposal to negotiation phase.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Cross-Functional Coordination<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate proposal and contract activities across Sales, Legal, Finance, Engineering, Delivery, and Product functions.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as the main point of contact between Sales Operations, Business Development, and supporting departments to ensure proposals are executable and commercially compliant.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate internal reviews and ensure timely alignment across all contributors.<\/li>\n<li>Manage dependencies and resolve bottlenecks to maintain proposal timelines.<\/li>\n<li>Promote collaboration and knowledge sharing between regional and global commercial operations teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Process &amp; Tools Improvement<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify, design, and implement improvements to proposal and contracting processes, templates, and tools.<\/li>\n<li>Drive adoption of automation and AI-based document management or proposal software.<\/li>\n<li>Develop metrics to track proposal efficiency, success rate, and cycle time improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Capture and disseminate lessons learned to enhance future proposal and contracting outcomes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Commercial Governance &amp; Compliance (optional M4 extension)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure adherence to Fluence\u2019s commercial governance framework, including risk reviews and approval procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Support the preparation and coordination of internal approval documentation for bids and contracts.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with Legal and Finance to enforce compliance with contracting policies and approval thresholds.<\/li>\n<li>Support audit preparation and ensure records are properly maintained and retrievable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Success Measures<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>On-time and accurate submission of proposals and contract documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Proposal win rate and order intake contribution within target range.<\/li>\n<li>Improved proposal cycle times and efficiency metrics.<\/li>\n<li>Positive feedback from Sales, Legal, and Engineering stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Implementation of measurable process improvements and tool enhancements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Person Specification<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications, Skills &amp;
