We provide a complete package to ensure our clients receive the optimum solution in a single interface and uncompromised contracting strategy \u2013 leading to operational flexibility and commercial efficiency.<\/p>\n<p>InterMoor currently have a requirement for a Senior Project Engineer (Moorings \/ Subsea Construction) to join their team in Aberdeen on a full time, permanent basis. The position will be responsible for leading technical delivery and project coordination for marine and subsea construction activities primarily focused on mooring systems and SURF for permanent offshore floating structures. This will include cost-effective planning, tender development, leading engineering work packages, procedural development and offshore execution.<\/p>\n<p><strong data-start=\"1573\" data-end=\"1602\">Duties \/ Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1603\" data-end=\"2944\">\n<li data-start=\"1603\" data-end=\"1773\">Responsible for leading the technical responses as part of project tenders associated with marine and subsea construction activities for permanent floating structures<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1774\" data-end=\"1881\">Management of individual projects dependent on type and scale under supervision of the Head of Projects<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1882\" data-end=\"2054\">Responsible for the delivery of engineering deliverables in support of the specific projects either independently or in conjunction with internal and external resources<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2055\" data-end=\"2365\">Responsible for the development of operational procedures for utilisation offshore, including step by step methodology, rigging arrangements, equipment requirements, and lifting plans for marine and subsea construction activities associated with moorings and SURF for permanent offshore floating structures<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2366\" data-end=\"2524\">Responsible for the development of mobilisation and demobilisation plans for installation and anchor handling vessels, and supervising quayside activities<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2525\" data-end=\"2589\">Create, maintain and report on project schedules as required<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2590\" data-end=\"2642\">Attend meetings with clients and sub-contractors<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2643\" data-end=\"2704\">Actively participate in HIRAs and QHSE related activities<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2705\" data-end=\"2751\">Produce scopes of work for sub-contractors<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2752\" data-end=\"2870\">Attend and oversee offshore operations during the execution phase to ensure adherence to procedures and guidelines<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2871\" data-end=\"2944\">Travel offshore and internationally depending on project requirements<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong data-start=\"2946\" data-end=\"2962\">Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2963\" data-end=\"4135\">\n<li data-start=\"2963\" data-end=\"3002\">Degree in an engineering discipline<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3003\" data-end=\"3145\">Minimum 5 years\u2019 experience working in marine or subsea construction (moorings \/ SURF) for the energy industry \u2013 oil and gas or renewables<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3146\" data-end=\"3277\">Experience in the design and installation of permanent mooring systems for units such as FPSOs, FSOs, FSUs, FWTs, or CALM buoys<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3278\" data-end=\"3392\">Experience in development of offshore operational procedures for installation and subsea construction projects<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3393\" data-end=\"3445\">Offshore experience in the execution of projects<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3446\" data-end=\"3498\">Knowledge in the use of Orcaflex is advantageous<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3499\" data-end=\"3603\">Driven and focused with a willingness to further the development of themselves and the assigned team<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3604\" data-end=\"3730\">Excellent communicator, both written and verbal, with highly effective interpersonal skills and strong attention to detail<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3731\" data-end=\"3799\">Creative and adaptable with the ability to manage new challenges<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3800\" data-end=\"3956\">Works closely with others to maximise team achievements and effectiveness through developing relationships and continuous sharing of knowledge and ideas<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3957\" data-end=\"4029\">Possession of up-to-date offshore certification will be advantageous<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4030\" data-end=\"4135\">Ability to travel offshore and
