We deliver a wide range of survey, positioning, and data management services using the most advanced equipment and techniques. The data we generate provides our clients with the insights they need to make critical, well-informed business decisions.<\/p>\n<p><strong data-start=\"486\" data-end=\"505\">UTEC NCS Survey<\/strong>, within the Acteon Geoservices division, specialises in land surveying, laser scanning, underground utilities location, 3D asset management solutions, dimensional control, and photogrammetry services.<\/p>\n<p>We are currently seeking a <strong data-start=\"737\" data-end=\"749\">Surveyor<\/strong> based in <strong data-start=\"759\" data-end=\"791\">Livingston, Central Scotland<\/strong>. The successful candidate will manage resources and logistics for Geomatics projects and ensure the timely distribution of survey deliverables within their region. The role focuses on a wide variety of Geomatics surveys, including Topographic, Utility, and Dimensional Control surveys across the UK, overseas, and optionally offshore.<\/p>\n<p><strong data-start=\"1130\" data-end=\"1154\">Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1157\" data-end=\"1901\">\n<li data-start=\"1157\" data-end=\"1261\">Oversee project execution, including field surveys, office processing, and delivery of final outputs<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1262\" data-end=\"1377\">Operate Total Stations, GNSS equipment, Laser Scanners, Ground Penetrating Radar, and Radio Detection Equipment<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1378\" data-end=\"1514\">Process survey data to a high standard using software such as LSS, AutoCAD, Trimble Business Centre, Leica Cyclone, and Register 360<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1515\" data-end=\"1620\">Conduct business professionally, liaising with clients and reporting to the Geomatics Project Manager<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1621\" data-end=\"1707\">Supervise and work collaboratively with Geospatial Assistants and Senior Surveyors<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1708\" data-end=\"1789\">Ensure all survey equipment and vehicles are maintained and in good condition<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1790\" data-end=\"1845\">Comply with all QHSE standards and company policies<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1846\" data-end=\"1901\">Conduct site visits and client meetings as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong data-start=\"1903\" data-end=\"1919\">Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1922\" data-end=\"2423\">\n<li data-start=\"1922\" data-end=\"1968\">Bachelor\u2019s degree or equivalent experience<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1969\" data-end=\"2028\">Minimum of 2 years\u2019 experience in the Geospatial sector<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2029\" data-end=\"2096\">Proficiency with survey instrumentation and processing software<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2097\" data-end=\"2171\">Team-oriented with a positive attitude and strong collaboration skills<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2172\" data-end=\"2224\">Ability to work with high accuracy and precision<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2225\" data-end=\"2290\">Willingness to work away from home and overseas when required<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2291\" data-end=\"2320\">Valid UK driver\u2019s license<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2321\" data-end=\"2423\">Valid passport with no restrictions preventing travel to and work in countries where UTEC operates<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>UTEC, part of the Acteon Group, is one of the world\u2019s largest independent offshore and onshore survey providers.
