Electricity, gas, water, renewables and nuclear work are key areas of focus.<\/p>\n<p>This role will give you exposure to some very high profile and complex transactions on an international scale.<\/p>\n<p>This role would suit a commercial lawyer looking to further develop their career and specialise in the growing Energy sector.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Draft, review, amend and negotiate energy related contracts and agreements.<\/li>\n<li>Provide legal advice on energy law and regulations to clients.<\/li>\n<li>Advise on project document associated with renewable, net and low carbon energy generation &amp; storage projects.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct legal research and stay updated on legislative changes.<\/li>\n<li>Represent clients in negotiations with project counter-parties.<\/li>\n<li>Assist clients in compliance with environmental and energy regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Advise on risk management and mitigation strategies in energy projects.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver tailored legal solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What will help you succeed in this role?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Qualified solicitor with considerable commercial contract experience.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent negotiation and drafting skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to analyse complex legal issues and provide clear guidance.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience in advising clients on transactional matters.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desirable Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An understanding of energy law, regulatory frameworks, and commercial contracts (such as grid connections, power purchase agreements and other route to market contracts)<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance issues in the energy sector.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DWF are seeking an experienced Senior Associate or Legal Director to join our successful and growing Commercial team specialising within the Energy sector.
