In this role, you will lead our cost estimating team and be responsible for preparation of a cost documentation for variety of infrastructure projects across Poland and Europe, serving both private and public sector clients.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee and guide a team of cost estimators, ensuring alignment with project goals and organizational standards.<\/li>\n<li>Use company estimating systems, tools, and procedures effectively.<\/li>\n<li>Develop cost estimates at all project stages according to design accuracy and available assumptions.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for cost estimation.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate cost-related insights, risks, and recommendations to senior management and clients.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all cost estimates adhere to company standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Analyse how project assumptions and design decisions impact overall cost estimates.<\/li>\n<li>Track costs of materials and equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Update cost plans throughout the design development process.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare construction and bid schedules.<\/li>\n<li>Actively participate in meetings with clients and design teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum two years of experience in a similar role.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in technical English is essential.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills in an international environment.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Strong knowledge of architecture, structural works, and road works, including earthworks quantity calculations<\/strong>\u00a0.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret engineering and technical drawings.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency with cost estimating software, MS Excel, MS Word, and NORMA PRO.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with MS Project, AutoCAD and Revit is an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Self-driven with strong organizational skills.<\/li>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in a relevant engineering discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in independent cost estimation.<\/li>\n<li>German language skills are a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Additional Information<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>What We offer:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work in an international and dynamic environment.<\/li>\n<li>Attractive opportunities for professional growth and career development.<\/li>\n<li>Private medical care and access to the MyBenefit system.<\/li>\n<li>Flexible working hours and a hybrid work model.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>AECOM is seeking a\u00a0Cost Estimation Team Lead\u00a0to join our team in\u00a0Warsaw or in Poznan .
