The Project Technical Manager reports to Engineering however is considered a key member of the project management team and so your experience should reflect a strong understanding in project delivery from a commercial and contractual perspective, as well as technically.<br \/>\nThe PTM is responsible for creating and directing a functional team of engineers and making sure that the team works together in an organised and efficient manner. The role of the PTM is to be result oriented and be a motivator and mentor for the team while ensuring \u201cindustry best practice\u201d is utilized and documented in the development of the\u00a0technical delivery for projects, tenders, and studies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tasks can include, but are not limited to:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support business acquisition, both for BD and Tendering activities;<\/li>\n<li>Promote DOF Subsea\u2019s engineering capabilities to clients and the market in general;<\/li>\n<li>Increase communication between engineers and offshore managers\/personnel across the region;<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to continuous improvement and lessons learned;<\/li>\n<li>Promote the company\u2019s organizational culture, values and reputation with all staff, customers, suppliers, partners and regulatory\/official bodies;<\/li>\n<li>Promote the development of a HSEQ culture and system that minimizes the risk of injury to\u00a0personnel, the environment and equipment to ALARP levels (As Low As Reasonably Practical);<\/li>\n<li>The PTM may be asked deputise as Project Manager as and when required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key elements of how to deliver:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.<\/li>\n<li>Plan, organise and prioritise work.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate the highest level of ethical behaviour.<\/li>\n<li>Remain flexible in order to adapt to changes in work environment.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent time-management, problem-prevention and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.<\/li>\n<li>Work effectively, professionally and tactfully with the region&#8217;s diverse workforce, managers and external companies.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal skills to facilitate interaction with the employees.<\/li>\n<li>Work according to our values.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Who we are<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>With a multi-national workforce of about 5,900 personnel, DOF Group ASA is an international group of companies which owns and operates a fleet of modern offshore\/subsea vessels, and engineering capacity to service both the offshore and subsea market.
