MMA), from inception through to final account and close out, to deliver maximum commercial results.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Person Specification<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3115\" data-end=\"3534\">\n<li data-start=\"3115\" data-end=\"3326\">Working in a finance or commercial function within the engineering or construction sector having hands on experience working for contractors as a Commercial Manager on large civils or infrastructure projects<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3327\" data-end=\"3398\">Working knowledge of finance systems and various forms of contracts<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3399\" data-end=\"3433\">Cost and budget administration<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3434\" data-end=\"3487\">Financial and commercial reporting to board level<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3488\" data-end=\"3534\">Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3554\" data-end=\"3668\">\n<li data-start=\"3554\" data-end=\"3668\">Minimum 5 years Commercial Management experience as an SQS or QS with a proven track record in major projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Preferred but not Essential<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3701\" data-end=\"3871\">\n<li data-start=\"3701\" data-end=\"3871\">Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management accredited by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3896\" data-end=\"6117\">\n<li data-start=\"3896\" data-end=\"4016\">Working with the SQS you will lead, manage, develop and train the commercial teams across your portfolio of projects<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4017\" data-end=\"4117\">Raise commercial awareness and embed commercial focus and best practise across each project team<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4118\" data-end=\"4268\">Assist on all contractual matters from inception to close out via in depth understanding of the contract and its implications for profit delivery.<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4269\" data-end=\"4380\">Assisting in the preparation of contract documents, including bills of quantities, specifications, drawings<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4381\" data-end=\"4669\">Assist in the management of the Risk &amp;
