You will ensure all reporting requirements and management of the client&#8217;s expectations &amp; contractual requirements are met.<\/p>\n<p>The Site Supervisor will also comply to quality procedures and safe working practices, ensuring the highest possible health, safety and environmental standards are achieved, and safeguarding the wellbeing of employees.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"634\" data-end=\"637\" \/>\n<p data-start=\"639\" data-end=\"664\"><strong>Main Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are seeking a hands-on Construction Supervisor to:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"721\" data-end=\"1435\">\n<li data-start=\"721\" data-end=\"846\">Support pre-construction tender preparation, including:\n<ul data-start=\"781\" data-end=\"846\">\n<li data-start=\"781\" data-end=\"796\">bid writing<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"799\" data-end=\"813\">programmes<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"816\" data-end=\"830\">narratives<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"833\" data-end=\"846\">take-offs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"847\" data-end=\"921\">Lead day-to-day site operations and ensure quality delivery to clients<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"922\" data-end=\"960\">Prepare method statements and RAMS<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"961\" data-end=\"1022\">Enforce health and safety and Principal Contractor duties<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1023\" data-end=\"1062\">Coordinate crews and subcontractors<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1063\" data-end=\"1122\">Liaise with the Site Manager, clients and third parties<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1123\" data-end=\"1185\">Manage risk and performance against programme and forecast<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1186\" data-end=\"1299\">Supervise installations and testing to manufacturers\u2019 instructions, including:\n<ul data-start=\"1269\" data-end=\"1299\">\n<li data-start=\"1269\" data-end=\"1276\">VRS<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1279\" data-end=\"1299\">foundation works<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1300\" data-end=\"1332\">Organise plant and personnel<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1333\" data-end=\"1373\">Complete H&amp;S paperwork on completion<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1374\" data-end=\"1435\">Drive continuous improvement and training across the team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"1437\" data-end=\"1440\" \/>\n<p data-start=\"1442\" data-end=\"1461\"><strong>Ideal Candidate<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are looking for a qualified civils\/highways professional with:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1530\" data-end=\"1738\">\n<li data-start=\"1530\" data-end=\"1568\">HND \/ HNC \/ BEng or equivalent NVQ<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1569\" data-end=\"1606\">CSCS card with FISS accreditation<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1607\" data-end=\"1662\">SSSTS \/ SMSTS \/ NRSWA (or equivalent) certification<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1663\" data-end=\"1703\">Working knowledge of health &amp; safety<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1704\" data-end=\"1738\">Experience with NEC4 contracts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Site Supervisor should also:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1774\" data-end=\"2271\">\n<li data-start=\"1774\" data-end=\"1808\">Hold a full UK driving licence<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1809\" data-end=\"1930\">Have hands-on civil engineering or construction experience, ideally including:\n<ul data-start=\"1892\" data-end=\"1930\">\n<li data-start=\"1892\" data-end=\"1899\">VRS<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1902\" data-end=\"1930\">high-speed road networks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1931\" data-end=\"1987\">Have knowledge of specifications and testing regimes<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1988\" data-end=\"2050\">Be able to produce and explain accurate plans and drawings<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2051\" data-end=\"2094\">Demonstrate people management abilities<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2095\" data-end=\"2155\">Possess strong organisational and time-management skills<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2156\" data-end=\"2221\">Have the confidence to challenge designs and resolve problems<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2222\" data-end=\"2271\">Take a self-driven, customer-focused approach<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"2273\" data-end=\"2276\" \/>\n<p data-start=\"2278\" data-end=\"2301\"><strong>Package Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Here at Colas, we offer a great total compensation package, including:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"2375\" data-end=\"2928\">\n<li data-start=\"2375\" data-end=\"2418\">A salary of \u00a344,000 &#8211;
