You will be responsible for:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"913\" data-end=\"1060\">\n<li data-start=\"913\" data-end=\"965\">Owning the provision and delivery of UK pensions<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"966\" data-end=\"1014\">Managing the full suite of employee benefits<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1015\" data-end=\"1060\">Overseeing day-to-day benefits operations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>You will be a UK Pensions specialist and SME with comprehensive technical knowledge and understanding of UK governance and pension legislation. You will also have experience managing a range of employee benefits and a strong desire to deliver exceptional service, contributing to an enhanced employee experience.<\/p>\n<hr data-start=\"1376\" data-end=\"1379\" \/>\n<p><strong>What You\u2019ll Be Doing<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Pensions Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1437\" data-end=\"3107\">\n<li data-start=\"1437\" data-end=\"1549\">Responsible for DC pension for the UK and the International Retirement Scheme for Singapore, Egypt and Japan<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1550\" data-end=\"1675\">Maintain strict adherence to legislative frameworks, regularly reviewing processes and validating regulatory requirements<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1676\" data-end=\"1774\">Control the invoicing process with suppliers and monitor scheme costs on behalf of the Company<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1775\" data-end=\"1884\">Manage outsourced administration provider (ISIO), monitoring performance against service level agreements<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1885\" data-end=\"1995\">Drive key business-as-usual activities such as benefit statements, statutory returns and cyclical projects<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1996\" data-end=\"2212\">Ensure legislative deadlines are met for pension scheme returns to HMRC and The Pensions Regulator, as well as publication of statutory documents (Annual Chair Statement, SIP etc.) on a publicly available website<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2213\" data-end=\"2279\">Monitor monthly contribution files to ensure deadlines are met<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2280\" data-end=\"2389\">Respond to complex member queries and manage the pension mailbox, ensuring timely and accurate resolution<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2390\" data-end=\"2503\">Facilitate the member-nominated trustee appointment process, including communications and interview selection<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2504\" data-end=\"2656\">Ensure discretionary death benefit claims are handled sensitively and appropriately, obtaining relevant supporting information for trustee decisions<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2657\" data-end=\"2824\">Ensure full compliance with Auto-enrolment legislation, including enrolment notifications, opt-out procedures and submission of redeclaration of compliance returns<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2825\" data-end=\"2904\">Work with external auditors on requests relating to annual company accounts<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"2905\" data-end=\"3011\">Develop and implement communication strategies to promote pension benefits and drive member engagement<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3012\" data-end=\"3107\">Collaborate with HR colleagues to ensure pensions are integrated into broader HR strategies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"3140\" data-end=\"4321\">\n<li data-start=\"3140\" data-end=\"3296\">Manage UK employee benefits (including medical, life, gym, mental health and wellbeing), aligning regional benefits strategy to global minimum standards<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3297\" data-end=\"3471\">Coordinate administration for starters, leavers and changes, including underwriting requirements, reconciliations, invoicing and internal recharges (with Payroll support)<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3472\" data-end=\"3554\">Ensure all monthly tasks and cyclical processes are completed before deadlines<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3555\" data-end=\"3713\">Manage benefits operations by partnering with local HR teams, HRIS and Payroll to ensure smooth delivery and improve operational efficiency where possible<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3714\" data-end=\"3831\">Manage benefits billing, including obtaining and reconciling invoices, submitting and tracking payments and costs<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3832\" data-end=\"3929\">Deliver internal communications to inform, promote and engage employees on benefits offerings<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"3930\" data-end=\"4037\">Maintain benefits documentation for all global offices, ensuring procedures are accurate and up to date<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4038\" data-end=\"4138\">Support and provide input into global benefits design, provider renewals and tendering processes<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4139\" data-end=\"4212\">Undertake additional\/ad hoc duties as required to meet business needs<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"4213\" data-end=\"4321\">Hold regular catch-ups with regional HR colleagues to support benefit renewals (Singapore, US and Dubai)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr data-start=\"4323\" data-end=\"4326\" \/>\n<p><strong>What schemes and legislation<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"5223\" data-end=\"5287\">Experience as a Pension Secretary in a corporate environment<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"5288\" data-end=\"5349\">Knowledge and experience of Defined Contribution pensions<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"5350\" data-end=\"5498\">Regulatory knowledge of The Pensions Regulator, The Financial Conduct Authority, The Pension Protection Fund and the Financial Assistance Scheme<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"5499\" data-end=\"5552\">Pension qualification from CII or PMI (desirable)<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"5553\" data-end=\"5690\">Demonstrable employee benefits knowledge and experience administering a wide range of benefits (including medical and life assurance)<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"5691\"
