The successful candidate will be responsible for broking Gas &amp; LNG options transactions between counterparties, providing market intelligence, and ensuring optimal execution for clients in the global Gas &amp; LNG market, and will play a key role in growing the desk and client base.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What you\u2019ll be doing<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Broking Gas &amp; LNG Options ensuring competitive pricing and efficient execution.<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients to drive growth.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor Gas &amp; LNG markets, price movements, and volatility to provide clients with timely insights and trading opportunities.<\/li>\n<li>Understand and communicate the risk profiles of Gas &amp; LNG options products, including pricing structures and hedging strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate terms and conditions of Gas &amp; LNG options contracts, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal standards.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate records of trades and provide regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Participate and attend all necessary regulatory training and be responsible for your individual regulatory compliance, and support the team with ensuring they meet this also.<\/li>\n<li>Assist the Onboarding team regarding AML\/KYC due diligence queries.<\/li>\n<li>Attend team meetings to discuss commercial performance.<\/li>\n<li>Represent the company at industry events and initiatives (e.g. Baltic Exchange etc) and act as an ambassador.<\/li>\n<li>Understand and input into the business strategy for the company and seek to help identify new business opportunities relating to trends, future markets, products and clients.<\/li>\n<li>Travel and attend client social events where required.<\/li>\n<li>Additional \/ ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>W<\/strong><strong>hat we\u2019re looking for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We welcome applications from candidates who share our\u00a0Company Values\u00a0and\u00a0key attributes, as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Qualified\u00a0<\/strong>&#8211; holding all the necessary regulatory registrations required for the role, including compulsory examinations.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Fit and proper<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 having the requisite honesty, integrity, reputation, competence and financial soundness.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Integrity and respect<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 acting thoughtfully and ethically to do the right thing in accordance with Conduct Rules, and to promote and foster a respectful work environment for all.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Drive<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 self-motivation and the desire and commitment to succeed, deliver excellence and make positive change.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Relationship building<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013\u00a0excellent communicator to effectively build strong, long-lasting relationships with colleagues, clients and others.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Collaboration<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 working well with others across diverse backgrounds to share information, develop skills and deliver results.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Resilience<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; persisting and adapting to changing or difficult situations, and adopting a positive and focused approach.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Smart<\/strong>\u00a0&#8211; problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a curious and inquisitive mind, and an openness to new ideas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Other requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Min. 2 years\u2019 experience in Gas &amp; LNG options derivatives broking markets.<\/li>\n<li>Existing network within Gas broking and trading community.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of Gas markets, options pricing, and risk management.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills; ability to build trust with clients.<\/li>\n<li>Strong commercial instinct and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient in market analysis and financial modelling.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with relevant regulations and trading standards.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are seeking an experienced Gas &amp; LNG Options Broker to join our dynamic team.
