{"id":12332,"date":"2026-03-10T00:31:33","date_gmt":"2026-02-17T08:10:47","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=12332"},"modified":"2026-03-19T08:33:47","modified_gmt":"2026-03-19T07:33:47","slug":"wartsila-gas-solutions-quality-control-engineer-gdynia-polska","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/en\/stanowisko\/wartsila-gas-solutions-quality-control-engineer-gdynia-polska\/","title":{"rendered":"Quality Control Engineer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>As\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Quality Control (QC)<\/strong><strong>\u00a0your work will focus on these responsibilities:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enforce and contribute to continuously improve the QC and Expediting methods for the company supporting ongoing projects.<\/li>\n<li>Establish and follow up Inspection and Test Plans towards suppliers.<\/li>\n<li>Review and Follow ups on ITP(s) and attend inspections and tests at Supplier facilities<\/li>\n<li>Log quality punches during inspection and follow up on closing the punches with supplier.<\/li>\n<li>Report to each project during manufacturing process<\/li>\n<li>Support Purchasing in verifying if reported progress is correct.<\/li>\n<li>Non-conformances to be logged when identified.<\/li>\n<li>Audit findings to be followed up on a regular basis.<\/li>\n<li>Actively participate to relevant meetings related to Project Kick offs, PPM, Procurement plans and Commodity teams<\/li>\n<li>Support internal and external audits.<\/li>\n<li>Sourcing, Supplier Development and QC have joint responsibility to inform each other when projects plan to visit suppliers, such as PPM, FAT, inspection with or without client.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Skills and Competencies:\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>According to Competence Matrix<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of Welding, NDT, Painting<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of E&amp;I equipment<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of P&amp;ID<\/li>\n<li>Understanding Engineering Drawings<\/li>\n<li>Communication in English written and spoken.<\/li>\n<li>Driving licence<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Behaviours:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Achieving results<\/li>\n<li>Making change happen<\/li>\n<li>Proactiveness, decisiveness and action orientation<\/li>\n<li>Planning and target setting<\/li>\n<li>Developing self and others<\/li>\n<li>Communication<\/li>\n<li>Situational and cultural sensitivity<\/li>\n<li>Business and Customer focus<\/li>\n<li>Flexibility to work from different supplier\u2019s facilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements general:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Cost awareness &amp; Effectiveness<\/li>\n<li>Cultural knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Presentation skills<\/li>\n<li>W\u00e4rtsil\u00e4 quality, safety &amp; environmental skills<\/li>\n<li>Good English skills<\/li>\n<li>Problem solving and decision making.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Management &amp; Leadership:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Communication<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Professional\/ Engineering:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Customer value understanding<\/li>\n<li>Technical communication<\/li>\n<li>Technical product &amp; solution knowledge<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Project Management:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Project Execution understanding<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As\u00a0Quality Control (QC)\u00a0your work will focus on these responsibilities:\u00a0 Enforce and contribute to continuously improve the QC and Expediting methods for the company supporting ongoing projects.
