In addition, we have recently been through a major IT reorg that has led to the creation of the Transformer BST or Business Solution Team, that is tasked with supporting the Transformer business with its IT needs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>This role is part of the Transformer BST and will function as the Solution Architect for the shopfloor IT environment, including MES (Manufacturing Execution System), machine connectivity and machine monitoring solutions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The Solution Architect\u00a0is responsible for\u00a0the design,\u00a0integrity\u00a0and quality of the IT solutions\u00a0and associated services delivered to the\u00a0Business\u00a0in this\u00a0domain.\u00a0The Solution Architect ensures that the Solution\/Services provide the required functionality within\u00a0cost\u00a0guidelines. In\u00a0addition\u00a0the Solution Architect\u00a0seeks\u00a0to\u00a0minimizes\u00a0risk to\u00a0business\u00a0regarding\u00a0security,\u00a0cost, obsolescence or\u00a0performance and continuity.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>How\u00a0you\u2019ll\u00a0make an\u00a0impact\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Define the\u00a0technical\u00a0elements of IT Solutions and ensure alignment with HE enterprise architecture guidelines and strategy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Collaborate with the\u00a0Service Delivery team to estimate effort and cost, complexity and risk, for any new IT Demands in the portfolio<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide technical review of requirements to\u00a0map business requests to standard\u00a0tools and\u00a0functionality,\u00a0and\u00a0identify\u00a0where\u00a0additional\u00a0customization or custom development would be\u00a0required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Help define the technical specifications for\u00a0new solutions\u00a0or significant enhancements\u00a0to existing solutions<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the Run organization with incident and problem resolution when technical expertise is\u00a0required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist\u00a0with the review and evaluation of incoming Change Requests<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Evaluate new applications, tools and technologies that would be valuable additions to the internal IT landscape<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Your background\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong\u00a0IT project management\u00a0skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in building IT integrations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of finance,\u00a0budgeting\u00a0and financial reporting.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>SAP FI\/CO experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to communicate effectively with business users as well as technical teams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to\u00a0create and\u00a0update\u00a0application and project\u00a0documentation\u00a0in English<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of\u00a0HE\u00a0IT Project governance process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hitachi Energy is currently undergoing a period of strong growth that requires significant expansion of our manufacturing base to meet the rising demand in the electrical distribution market.
