Whether you&#8217;re an experienced engineer or just starting your career, we want to hear from you!<\/p>\n<p><strong>About the Role\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Civil Engineering Team Leader is responsible for leading a team of civil engineers to deliver high-quality design solutions for complex projects in the nuclear and energy sectors. This leadership role combines technical oversight, team development, and cross-functional coordination to ensure compliance with standards, timely delivery, and operational excellence.<\/p>\n<p>As a Sr Supervisor, you will coordinate and supervise the daily activities of a small team of professionals, set priorities, and ensure task completion. You will apply your technical expertise to solve problems, provide guidance, and contribute to resource planning and policy development.<br \/>\nThis position requires strong leadership, technical depth, and the ability to collaborate across disciplines.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Supervise and mentor a team of civil engineers, providing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate work activities with other supervisors and project managers to ensure alignment and timely delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Set priorities for the team and manage workload to meet project objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical guidance and oversight on civil engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.<\/li>\n<li>Review and validate engineering calculations, design reports, and technical documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Apply acquired expertise to analyse and solve complex engineering problems without clear precedent.<\/li>\n<li>Support resource planning, contribute to policy development, and complete employee performance evaluations.<\/li>\n<li>Recommend pay actions and manage team performance in line with organizational standards.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet project requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Drive continuous improvement in engineering practices, tools, and processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Core Competencies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leadership &amp; Team Development: Proven ability to supervise and coach engineering teams.<\/li>\n<li>Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, design tools, and regulatory compliance.<\/li>\n<li>Problem Solving: Ability to resolve complex technical issues using sound judgment and expertise.<\/li>\n<li>Collaboration: Skilled in working across disciplines and international teams.<\/li>\n<li>Communication: Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.<\/li>\n<li>Quality &amp; Accuracy: High attention to detail and commitment to engineering excellence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Degree in Civil Engineering (MEng, MSc, BEng, or equivalent).<\/li>\n<li>Chartered or near Chartered Engineer status with a relevant professional body (support provided).<\/li>\n<li>Extensive experience in civil engineering roles, including supervisory responsibilities.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in highly regulated industries (nuclear, energy, or similar) is an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in engineering design tools and BIM environments.<\/li>\n<li>Fluent spoken and written English (B2 level or higher).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>We Offer<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>International working environment and unique company culture fostering individual career growth and work-life balance<\/li>\n<li>Personal development opportunities and training in industry-leading tools<\/li>\n<li>Friendly and supportive team atmosphere<\/li>\n<li>Participation in global projects and process improvements<\/li>\n<li>Full-time employment contract with competitive salary<\/li>\n<li>Benefits package including medical care, life insurance, My Benefit cafeteria with co-financing for sports activities, employee wellbeing support program<\/li>\n<li>Flexible working hours (start between 7:30\u201310:00)<\/li>\n<li>Short Fridays (Monday to Thursday we work 8,5h, Friday is a 6-hour workday)<\/li>\n<li>Office based work, with occasional work from home<\/li>\n<li>Modern office in an attractive location<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We\u2019re building something exciting in Krak\u00f3w \u2014 a new Integrated Delivery Solutions team (IDS) focused on delivering world-class Civil, Structural, and Architectural (CS&amp;A) engineering solutions.
