We&#8217;re looking for passionate Senior Civil Engineers. This is your chance to work on some of the world\u2019s most exciting nuclear and energy projects; from Small and Advanced Modular Reactor technologies to renewable energy and high-energy industrial projects.<br \/>\nWe know that great candidates come with a variety of backgrounds and strengths. Whether you&#8217;re an experienced engineer or just starting your career, we want to hear from you!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead and perform civil engineering design for site development, drainage systems, earthworks, utilities, access roads, pavements, platforms, and associated infrastructure.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and own engineering deliverables such as calculation packages, design reports, feasibility studies, specifications, and drawings (in cooperation with CAD\/BIM).<\/li>\n<li>Apply and interpret UK and European design standards.<\/li>\n<li>Use engineering best practices and insights from internal\/external experience to improve design quality, constructability, safety, sustainability, and lifecycle performance.<\/li>\n<li>Solve complex engineering problems, evaluating multiple solutions and applying new perspectives while remaining compliant with applicable codes and constraints.<\/li>\n<li>Work independently, with minimal guidance, taking responsibility for the quality, accuracy, and completeness of assigned work packages.<\/li>\n<li>Lead civil engineering tasks or project steps within larger multi\u2011disciplinary projects; plan workloads, estimate resources, manage risks, and control delivery against schedule and budget.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, MEP, Architecture, Fire, and Environmental disciplines to resolve interfaces and support integrated design delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in design reviews, digital model reviews, HAZID workshops, and constructability discussions.<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical input for tenders, including scopes, methodologies, assumptions, and work estimates.<\/li>\n<li>Check and review work produced by junior engineers; act as a technical resource and mentor for less-experienced team members.<\/li>\n<li>Support stakeholder engagement, responding to Technical Queries (TQs), addressing comments, and contributing to design change control.<\/li>\n<li>Provide site\/field engineering support (RFIs, design clarifications, review of as\u2011built information) as required.<\/li>\n<li>Support preparation of digital deliverables and coordinate with BIM teams (e.g., reviewing civil models, CDE workflows).<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with IDS governance, quality procedures, and document control requirements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Technical Expertise: Strong civil engineering knowledge (drainage, utilities, earthworks, roads, grading, SuDS, hydrology\/hydraulics).<\/li>\n<li>Cross\u2011Disciplinary Awareness: Understanding of structural, geotechnical, environmental, and MEP considerations and their impact on civil design.<\/li>\n<li>Problem Solving: Ability to solve complex problems and evaluate alternative solutions using sound engineering judgment.<\/li>\n<li>Independence: Works independently, receives minimal guidance, and is accountable for ongoing work activities.<\/li>\n<li>Leadership &amp; Mentoring: Provides guidance to less-experienced engineers; checks deliverables and supports skill development within the team.<\/li>\n<li>Collaboration: Strong teamwork skills for work within multi\u2011disciplinary and international project environments.<\/li>\n<li>Communication: Clear, structured technical writing and confident communication in English and Polish.<\/li>\n<li>Quality &amp;
