{"id":13084,"date":"2026-03-26T00:30:43","date_gmt":"2026-03-05T12:32:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/stanowisko\/associate-director-ica-engineering\/"},"modified":"2026-04-06T11:17:58","modified_gmt":"2026-04-06T09:17:58","slug":"atkinsrealis-associate-director-ica-engineering-glasgow-wielka-brytania","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/en\/stanowisko\/atkinsrealis-associate-director-ica-engineering-glasgow-wielka-brytania\/","title":{"rendered":"Associate Director ICA Engineering"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The role will offer a challenging and rewarding opportunity to apply knowledge, experience, and problem\u2011solving skills whilst\u00a0providing\u00a0good opportunities for career development.<\/p>\n<p>As an <strong>ICA Engineering\u00a0Associate Director in the D&amp;AT practice<\/strong>, the successful candidate would have the following responsibilities:<\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>Own and direct a team of Electrical &amp; ICA engineers for delivery of technical design work on complex multi\u2011disciplinary projects following relevant client and project specific design codes and standards, and to high\u2011quality levels.<\/li>\n<li>Successfully manage time and budgets of the Electrical &amp; ICA team to key project milestones and\u00a0programmes.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for directing and reviewing technical deliverables such as Single Line Diagrams, Cable Block Diagrams, Load Schedules, MCC specifications, Control Philosophies, Control\u00a0Network Architecture.<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical leadership into project design deliverables for ICA aspects of complex multi\u2011disciplinary projects and work with the project management team to successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and\u00a0programmes.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with client, operational, project, or service activities within your immediate team and other related\u00a0AtkinsR\u00e9alis\u00a0teams.<\/li>\n<li>Provide direction and guidance to Senior and Principal colleagues.<\/li>\n<li>Lead the growth of local Electrical &amp; ICA team and the wider Electrical &amp; ICA technical network.<\/li>\n<li>Work independently with minimal technical guidance. Exercise personal judgement to solve difficult problems where\u00a0appropriate\u00a0and provide guidance to Senior and Principal team members.<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical support and direction for bid proposals.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with multi\u2011disciplinary teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Setting quality assurance standards in design and ensure compliance from Electrical &amp; ICA teams.<\/li>\n<li>Leading business development initiatives to drive growth of water market.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>About you<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<div>\n<ul>\n<li>A degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Chartered Engineer.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience in leading or directing an Electrical &amp; ICA engineering design delivery team for a design\u00a0consultancy including\u00a0within a multi\u2011disciplinary environment.<\/li>\n<li>Takes\u00a0broad\u00a0perspective to\u00a0identify\u00a0innovative solutions to design problems.<\/li>\n<li>Requires comprehensive knowledge and practical experience in ICA designs.<\/li>\n<li>Extensive knowledge of water company design codes and standards as well as industry best practices, such as WIMES.<\/li>\n<li>Strong awareness of HAZOP assessments, lightning strike risk assessments, earthing and bonding, lighting designs, DSEAR and ATEX installation practices.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently with minimal technical guidance.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in\u00a0water\u00a0market is preferred but not\u00a0required.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in industrial and process\u00a0environment\u00a0is essential.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates\u00a0strong communication\u00a0skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts clearly and effectively within diverse multi\u2011disciplinary teams.<\/li>\n<li>A proactive, highly motivated mindset with a collaborative approach to drive teamwork and\u00a0shared\u00a0success across projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Meet some but not\u00a0all of\u00a0the criteria?\u00a0We&#8217;d\u00a0still love to hear from you!
