{"id":13089,"date":"2026-03-26T00:30:40","date_gmt":"2026-03-05T12:40:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/stanowisko\/associate-director-civil-water\/"},"modified":"2026-04-06T11:18:16","modified_gmt":"2026-04-06T09:18:16","slug":"atkinsrealis-associate-director-civil-water-london-wielka-brytania","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/en\/stanowisko\/atkinsrealis-associate-director-civil-water-london-wielka-brytania\/","title":{"rendered":"Associate Director Civil Water"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Your Role<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The role will offer a challenging and rewarding opportunity to apply knowledge, experience, and problem\u2011solving skills whilst providing good opportunities for career development.<\/li>\n<li>As an Associate Director Civil Water Engineer in the D&amp;AT practice, the successful candidate would have the following responsibilities:<\/li>\n<li>Lead a team of Civil Water engineers for delivery of technical design work on complex multi\u2011disciplinary projects following relevant national and project specific design codes and standards, and to high\u2011quality levels in areas such as hydraulics, wastewater and clean water infrastructure, water reuse, pipelines and other disciplines.<\/li>\n<li>Lead on the development of project design deliverables for Civil Water aspects of complex multi\u2011disciplinary projects and work with the project management team to successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for managing production, reviewing, and approving technical deliverables such as design reports, drawings, calculations, and scopes of work.<\/li>\n<li>Provide Technical Leadership within discipline for the regional and national D&amp;AT practice and influence D&amp;AT Practice wide initiatives and recommend best practices to improve internal process and services.<\/li>\n<li>Grow, develop, and manage the Civil Water Engineering capabilities within the regional and\/or nationally practice.<\/li>\n<li>Work independently with guidance in only the most challenging situations. Exercise personal judgement to solve difficult problems where appropriate and provide guidance to junior team members.<\/li>\n<li>Advise client, operational, project, or service activities within project teams and wider D&amp;AT Practice initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Manage or collaborate on technical aspects of bid proposals.<\/li>\n<li>Support operational activities such as hiring, line management, business development, client management.<\/li>\n<li>Work closely with a multi\u2011disciplinary team in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<section id=\"person-requirements\" class=\"two-column-text two-column-text--two-column-body-dark mt-lg-1 animate animate--fade-in\" data-component-animation=\"\" data-animate=\"\" data-animation=\"fade-in\" data-animation-duration=\"600\" data-animation-delay=\"100\">\n<div class=\"two-column-text__inner-wrapper  pt-lg-1 pb-lg-1 section-dark bg-primary-6\">\n<div class=\"container-fluid\">\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-12 col-md-11\">\n<div class=\"config-text text-start\">\n<div class=\"config-text__content color-body rte text-body body-sm mb-0 animate animate--fade-in-top\" data-animate=\"\" data-animation=\"fade-in-top\" data-animation-duration=\"600\" data-animation-delay=\"100\"><strong>About you<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A degree in Civil Water Engineering or equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>Chartered Civil Water Engineer.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience in leading large\u2011scale Civil Water engineering design delivery for a design consultancy including within a multi\u2011disciplinary environment including leading collaboration with clients and contractors, and proven ability and technical knowledge to lead across the full project lifecycle.<\/li>\n<li>Takes broad perspective to identify innovative solutions, challenges the status quo.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates in\u2011depth knowledge and broad expertise in Civil<\/li>\n<li>Water engineering including thought leadership in risk assessment, quality control, proactive design management and collaboration with key disciplines involved in water infrastructure design and delivery, for example MEICA, structures, and geotechnics.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates exemplary communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to diverse stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Expert knowledge of current design codes and standards as well as industry best practices, including CDM regulations, Eurocodes, regulatory bodies, water utility standards, NEC.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in applicable analytical software and related tools such as Autocad, Civil3D, Revit, CDEs, ArcGIS, MS Suite, Power BI.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Water market is essential. Experience in other markets is also beneficial.<\/li>\n<li>A proactive, highly motivated mindset with a collaborative approach to drive teamwork and shared success across projects and the wider AtkinsR\u00e9alis D&amp;AT practice.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable liaising with stakeholders at all levels both internally and externally.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Your Role The role will offer a challenging and rewarding opportunity to apply knowledge, experience, and problem\u2011solving skills whilst providing good opportunities for career development.
