This a fantastic professional opportunity for driven individuals to work on a uniquely wide range of water related projects in the UK and worldwide.<\/p>\n<p><strong>As part of our team, you will be able to make a difference by:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leading the design of major water supply infrastructure to ensure sustainable water security in the region<\/li>\n<li>Contributing to innovative grey and blue-green sewer solutions to reduce the amount of wastewater spills<\/li>\n<li>Developing climate-resilient flood protection for our communities whilst safeguarding habitats including our rare chalk streams<\/li>\n<li>Delivering cutting-edge water treatment plants to improve water quality in our rivers and coastlines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key responsibilities and duties include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be responsible for the delivery of project(s), coordinating project team(s) to ensure excellent technical delivery within budget and programme<\/li>\n<li>Produce and review engineering calculations, specifications, drawings and reports, proactively managing design risk to deliver constructable solutions<\/li>\n<li>Represent the company in meetings, building strong relationships with our clients that will enhance our reputation and help secure further work<\/li>\n<li>Deliver projects in close partnership with clients and contractors<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to technical excellence and commercial success through forecasting and risk management, and the production of bids and proposals<\/li>\n<li>Work to Mott MacDonald\u2019s global standards and review Health, Safety and Welfare alongside environmental impact<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Candidate specification<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are looking for a driven individual, with a strong technical background in water \u00a0and the desire to contribute to projects which improve society and transform our clients\u2019 businesses and our communities.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chartered Status (CEng) with a recognised Professional Institution<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to deliver complex technical projects, ensuring compliance with relevant quality assurance and technical standards and supporting the development of less experienced staff<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrable technical experience in design and the management of design teams<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication skills with experience in effective collaboration across internal multi-disciplinary teams with other technical disciplines including environmental specialists, geotechnical, structural, electrical and mechanical engineers<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of designers\u2019 responsibilities under CDM<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desirable:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Able to travel to other offices and sites, as required<\/li>\n<li>Track record in building teams and capability of junior staff<\/li>\n<li>Experience in preparing successfully bids and in undertaking client engagement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are seeking a Senior\/ Principal Civil Engineer with a background in water supply, wastewater, water resources, dams and\/or river engineering to strengthen our technical teams in the south and&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":9475,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_promoted":"","_company_name":"Mott MacDonald","_job_zagraniczne":"1","_company_website":"","_company_video":"","_remote_position":0,"_hide_expiration":"0","_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[37,147],"job-types":[2],"job_listing_tag":[],"class_list":{"0":"post-13581","1":"job_listing","2":"type-job_listing","3":"status-publish","4":"hentry","5":"job_listing_category-budownictwo","6":"job_listing_category-inne-budownictwo","7":"job_listing_type-umowa-o-prace","8":"job-level-senior","10":"job-type-umowa-o-prace"},"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v25.5 (Yoast SEO v25.5) -
