This role offers an exciting opportunity to for an experienced lighting engineer influence projects from conception through completion.<\/p>\n<p>Each team member has a development plan to provide a clear pathway to personal development and career progression. The team provides technical leadership of projects throughout the infrastructure lifecycle from feasibility, preliminary and detailed stage designs in some cases through construction.<\/p>\n<p>Our clients are many and varied from the private and public sector working with numerous local authorities, we work with internal client from transport, rail etc.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here\u2019s what you\u2019ll do:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop: Manage engineering tasks, explore subject areas, define project scopes, and create unique solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Advise: Provide expert technical knowledge and support across multi-disciplinary projects.<\/li>\n<li>Design: from conceptual stages to implementation which will include site visits, lighting designs, private cable calculation designs, CAD designs, production of lighting specifications, Bills of Quantities and liaison with DNO suppliers.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure Quality: Strong efficiencies on quality and budget control on projects, navigate the complexities of transportation and landscape projects, working with clients to address and resolve challenges.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate: Build strong relationships with technical teams and clients, leading multi-disciplinary efforts to achieve integrated design solutions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Come grow with us:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>And let&#8217;s not forget about the perks at AECOM. Take advantage of career development opportunities, our flexible hybrid working model to ensure a work-life balance that suits your lifestyle, technical practice networks, AECOM University, and volunteering days\u00a0<strong>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Relevant Technical Qualifications: Ideally, you possess an ILP Exterior Lighting Diploma or equivalent qualification in a related technical field.<\/li>\n<li>Proven Design Experience: Demonstrated success in a lighting design environment, with a proactive and creative approach to problem-solving.<\/li>\n<li>Software Proficiency: Proficient in industry-standard software, including Lighting Reality, AGi32, Dialux, and Amtech Pro Design to create and assess detailed lighting schemes<\/li>\n<li>Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently and diplomatically engage with staff, colleagues, and clients.<\/li>\n<li>Project Management: Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
