You&#8217;ll have the opportunity to shape your career while contributing to some of the most exciting and critical projects in the industry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>We\u2019re excited to hear from professionals with expertise in the following areas:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Safety Case production and management e.g. engineering changes, safety reports (PSRs, PCSRs etc).<\/li>\n<li>Hazard and Risk identification and assessment studies, e.g. FMEA, HAZOP, ALARP.<\/li>\n<li>Internal and External Hazard assessments.<\/li>\n<li>Deterministic and Probabilistic Safety Assessments (PSA).<\/li>\n<li>Nuclear Licensing and Authorisations.<\/li>\n<li>Integrating safety principles into engineering designs.<\/li>\n<li>Structural Integrity design\/assessment of nuclear related structures and components.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The key responsibilities for this role are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Delivering technical work to support the demonstration that a facility or system can be operated safely and in compliance with regulatory requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Liaising with clients to understand their challenges and developing solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Representing the business in technical meetings with clients, regulators and other third parties.<\/li>\n<li>Helping to maintain the technical capability\/knowledge of the community and mentoring team members (as appropriate).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What You&#8217;ll Need<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A degree (or equivalent demonstrable experience) in a STEM discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Experience of executing project tasks against relevant standards and best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Good communication skills and ability to articulate information to a broad range of stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Chartered Member of a professional institute (or equivalent demonstrable experience) or working towards either Chartered or Incorporated<\/li>\n<li>Engineer status with a relevant professional body.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Amentum are at the forefront of ground breaking projects, working hand-in-hand across the civil nuclear and defence sectors, both in the UK and on a global stage.
