Hybrid"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To help support Amentum\u2019s worldwide\u00a0$14B F25\u00a0forward looking workload and our portfolio of complex and exciting geotechnical projects within the\u00a0Defence, Nuclear Power, Environment and Government-Owned Critical Infrastructure industries,\u00a0we are now looking to grow our Ground Engineering capabilities within the UK and are seeking to <strong>recruit\u00a0Geotechnical Design Engineers\u00a0at a range of experience levels including:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Geotechnical Design Engineer<\/li>\n<li>Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer (Chartered or approaching).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are operating under flexible working arrangements, with a mixture of office-based and home working environments. \u00a0Bristol\u00a0office would be the preferred base-office, although other offices, such as<strong>\u00a0Oxford,\u00a0Reading,\u00a0London\u00a0or\u00a0Glasgow\u00a0etc can also be considered.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As a Ground Engineering Professional within Amentum, you will play a critical role in managing ground risk by delivering geotechnical assessment, analysis, design and construction supervision to a diverse range of existing and future projects across the UK and internationally. <strong>\u00a0This work can involve:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Preliminary Source, Feasibility, value engineering, innovation and sustainability studies.<\/li>\n<li>Land and overwater ground investigations including advanced in situ and laboratory testing and data management.<\/li>\n<li>Ground characterisation, parametrisation and modelling of soil and rock.<\/li>\n<li>Numerical and FE analyses of geotechnical problems, including seismic and dynamic analysis.<\/li>\n<li>Geotechnical analysis and design of innovative and sustainable structures such as: Routine and complex design within soil and rock, SSI and seismic SSSI, Deep and shallow Foundations, Retaining walls, Basements and Cofferdams, Earthworks, reinforced earth and geotextiles, Ground Improvement including vibrational, mixing and grouting methodologies, Ground anchors, soil nails, rock bolts etc<\/li>\n<li>Specification for construction purposes.<\/li>\n<li>Technical construction assurance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For the right ground engineering candidates there are opportunities to develop at all levels within our organisation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here\u2019s What You\u2019ll Need \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are interested in seeing your profile if you have experience or exposure to a <strong>SELECTION of the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Applicants must be willing to obtain SC level security clearance, and have resided in the UK for the preceding 5 years.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of ground engineering with a focus on geotechnical design.<\/li>\n<li>Relevant experience of geotechnical Standards and Codes of Practice<\/li>\n<li>Ground Investigation<\/li>\n<li>Geotechnical analysis, design and technical reporting involving some of the following: Deep \/ Shallow foundations;
