{"id":14123,"date":"2026-04-15T00:30:50","date_gmt":"2026-03-25T10:01:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=14123"},"modified":"2026-04-15T02:30:50","modified_gmt":"2026-04-15T00:30:50","slug":"dornan-group-mechanical-estimator-cork-irlandia","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/en\/stanowisko\/dornan-group-mechanical-estimator-cork-irlandia\/","title":{"rendered":"Mechanical Estimator"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>At Dornan<\/strong><strong>\u202fwe are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Estimator to work as part of the Estimation team in Cork or Dublin.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Your day to day will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To prepare and submit detailed mechanical estimates and tenders within agreed deadlines<\/li>\n<li>To produce fast, accurate, competitive and profitable mechanical estimates from enquiry through to bid submission<\/li>\n<li>To review mechanical drawings, specifications, and schedules to determine scope, quantities, and pricing requirements<\/li>\n<li>To analyse supplier and subcontractor quotations, ensuring accuracy and clarity of inclusions and exclusions<\/li>\n<li>To liaise with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing<\/li>\n<li>To support value engineering and cost optimisation exercises where appropriate<\/li>\n<li>To assist with post-tender clarifications and attend tender and follow-up meetings when required<\/li>\n<li>To collaborate with estimating, commercial, and delivery teams to ensure all mechanical aspects of the tender are fully considered<\/li>\n<li>To communicate estimating data clearly, identifying risks, assumptions, and opportunities for both technical and non-technical stakeholders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What we are looking for:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Solid knowledge of mechanical estimating practices<\/li>\n<li>Strong commercial awareness and understanding of cost drivers<\/li>\n<li>Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical documentation<\/li>\n<li>Highly organised with the ability to manage workload and meet deadlines<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated, reflective, and committed to continuous professional development<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience estimating mechanical services on commercial and\/or large-scale projects<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>At Dornan\u202fwe are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Estimator to work as part of the Estimation team in Cork or Dublin.\u00a0 Your day to day will include: To prepare and&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":9475,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_promoted":"","_company_name":"Dornan Group","_job_zagraniczne":"1","_company_website":"","_company_video":"","_remote_position":0,"_hide_expiration":"0","_job_salary":"","_job_salary_currency":"","_job_salary_unit":""},"job-categories":[576,580],"job-types":[167],"job_listing_tag":[],"class_list":{"0":"post-14123","1":"job_listing","2":"type-job_listing","3":"status-publish","4":"hentry","5":"job_listing_category-construction","6":"job_listing_category-other-construction","7":"job_listing_type-permanent-job","9":"job-type-contract-of-employment"},"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO Premium plugin v25.5 (Yoast SEO v25.5) -
