Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Regional EHS Leadership<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the SPS EMEAA EHS organization, providing strategic direction and operational oversight<\/li>\n<li>Serve as the EMENAT EHS Leader, ensuring alignment EHS Delivery in the region.<\/li>\n<li>Drive EHS transformation by owning and executing assigned actions from the SPS EHS Lean Action Plan<\/li>\n<li>Ensure outages are staffed with the right level of EHS support across all EMEAA geographies<\/li>\n<li>Ensure Site EHS Specialists, or acting EHS representatives, receive the required onboarding and ongoing support<\/li>\n<li>Ensure site-level EHS support maintains a consistent rhythm with the regional EHS team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Operational EHS Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide daily management and EHS oversight for assigned outages and scopes across the EMEAA region<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with SPS partners, GE Vernova affiliates, clients, contractor workers, and regulatory agencies on all EHS matters<\/li>\n<li>Support ITO (Inquiry-to-Order) EHS needs, including customer pre-qualification requirements<\/li>\n<li>Provide subject matter expertise across EHS planning, execution, and learning phases<\/li>\n<li>Ensure operationalization of the EHS framework at the regional and site level<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Performance, Analytics &amp; Continuous Improvement<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Establish in-depth analysis of EHS metrics and define actions, initiatives, and risk reduction projects to improve safety performance<\/li>\n<li>Collect, consolidate, and analyze data from multiple sources to determine site entry statuses for field employees<\/li>\n<li>Recommend innovative solutions and process improvements to achieve the overall EHS blueprint<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the development and rollout of Steam Power Services Safety Global Programs and initiatives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Compliance &amp; Regulatory Affairs<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure all employees are informed of, understand, and comply with EHS policies, procedures, and applicable local regulations across EMEAA jurisdictions<\/li>\n<li>Prepare for and assist with audits and inspections by government entities at the federal, national, state, or local level<\/li>\n<li>Conduct internal audits and provide corrective actions to reduce operational EHS risk<\/li>\n<li>Ensure GE Vernova systems of record are accurate and timely updated in accordance with compliance assurance expectations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Incident Management &amp; Reporting<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage incident and injury reporting in accordance with GE Vernova guidelines and applicable local and international regulations<\/li>\n<li>Ensure timely and accurate event reporting, investigations, action closure, and read-across<\/li>\n<li>Communicate timely awareness of injuries, illnesses, and associated mitigating measures across the region<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Training &amp; Capability Development<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure EHS training is accurately assigned, up to date, and completed on time as defined by the SPS training matrix, client requirements, and local regulations across EMEAA<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Basic Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in EHS or a related field from an accredited university or college<\/li>\n<li><b>Extensive experience leading EHS<\/b>\u00a0projects and performance initiatives<\/li>\n<li><b>Field experience in power plants is required<\/b><\/li>\n<li><b>English proficiency required<\/b>; proficiency in additional EMEAA regional languages is a plus<\/li>\n<li>Ability and willingness to\u00a0<b>travel up to 50%<\/b>\u00a0of the time across the EMEAA region<\/li>\n<li>Eligible to work across multiple EMEAA jurisdictions as required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Seasoned people leader with extensive experience in projects and field services environments<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience operating across multi-country, multi-regulatory environments within EMEAA<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively in a matrix organization, influencing and motivating diverse, cross-cultural teams toward unified goals<\/li>\n<li>Proven ability to interface with all levels of the organization, as well as external stakeholders including customers and regulatory agencies<\/li>\n<li>Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects and priorities, making timely decisions based on available information<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights<\/li>\n<li>Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to prepare clear, accurate reports with findings and recommendations<\/li>\n<li>Strong customer service and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>Professional certification in the EHS field (e.g., CSP, CIH, NEBOSH, or regional equivalent)<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of Gensuite EHS Management System<\/li>\n<li>Working knowledge of Support Central, Yammer, and web-based communication tools<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of GE Vernova&#8217;s EHS programs, policies, and the SPS EHS Lean
