{"id":14187,"date":"2026-04-08T00:31:57","date_gmt":"2026-03-25T12:14:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=14187"},"modified":"2026-04-08T02:31:57","modified_gmt":"2026-04-08T00:31:57","slug":"ge-vernova-project-risk-manager-berlin-niemcy","status":"publish","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobtek.eu\/en\/stanowisko\/ge-vernova-project-risk-manager-berlin-niemcy\/","title":{"rendered":"Project Risk Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><span class=\"emphasis-3\">Job Description<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In the context of an HVDC offshore Project, the Project Risk Manager will take responsibility for all elements of the risk management approach, both internally and externally.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Major Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You will be leading the facilitation of the risk management process ensuring that risk data are kept up to date and following industry best practices according to ISO31000:2018 standards.<\/li>\n<li>Engage the project team in the risk management requirements proactively and establish a risk management culture which enforces risk informed decision making.<\/li>\n<li>Develop Risk Management Plan, maintain risk registers, prepare risk reports and analyses to support management in decision making.<\/li>\n<li>Automate and increase efficiency in elements of the implemented risk management processes, tools, and templates.<\/li>\n<li>Lead risk workshops with the project teams including partners and client.<\/li>\n<li>Integrate Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) methodology for Cost and Schedule in the project, help management interpret results and make decisions using QRAs.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure consistency of approach and knowledge sharing across projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualification And Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Previous experience in industries with large and complex engineering focused projects, programmes and regulated environments (major infrastructure, rail, highways, oil and gas, nuclear).<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in consultancy environments.<\/li>\n<li>Need to be able to demonstrate that you have designed and led risk management frameworks and approaches to risk management in project environments.<\/li>\n<li>Quantitative Cost and Schedule Risk Analysis (QCSRA).<\/li>\n<li>Expert with industry tools such as @risk, Safran, ARM, Xactium.<\/li>\n<li>Broad and diverse background i.e., Project Management, Statistics, Economics, Business Management, Cost Estimators, Engineering (civil, mechanical, electrical), Data analytics, but not limited.<\/li>\n<li>Influence teams in adopting new ways of working and challenge existing practices as necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Ability and interest to deep dive into complex analytical topics, interpreting and processing technical information making it easier to communicate in various audiences.<\/li>\n<li>Mastery of MS Office tools (e.g., Excel) to support these analytics is required.<\/li>\n<li>Work in multidisciplinary teams and complex stakeholder environments.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent project management skills; coordination and cooperation skills; a team player who is willing and able to work with others to solve problems and share knowledge.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, German is an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Willingness and ability to travel &#8211; up to 20%<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Desired Characteristics<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of various frameworks such as Management of Risk (MoR), Association of Project Management.<\/li>\n<li>Like the rest of our team, you should be dedicated to renewable energy and enjoy working in a dynamic, international team.
