The Contract &amp; Commercial Manager plays an important role by being responsible for the contract management of allocated project(s) and leading the commercial aspects by working closely with\u00a0the business support functions within the project organisation such as Cost Control, Planning, SCM and Risk Management.<\/li>\n<li>Supporting the Project Manager with the commercial performance of the project and being a champion of maximizing profitability of the project.<\/li>\n<li>Fulfill the contract management role on the project, ensuring full compliance with contract obligations and timely notifications.<\/li>\n<li>Proactively lead the variation management process to identify change, in close collaboration with the project team and through monitoring of correspondence, and subsequently prepare relevant notice of claims, claims and variation order requests and negotiate to obtain client approval and protect the company\u2019s margin.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that rigorous standards are set and maintained in terms of quality of formal project correspondence and communication tracking, hereunder drafting of contractual documents such as variations, side letters, amendments and addendums.<\/li>\n<li>Lead internal and external project meetings and processes dealing with contractual \/commercial issues and disputes. Liaise with management and legal department as required.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and follow up on relevant flow down clauses for key subcontractors, in close collaboration with the subcontract specialists.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master\u2019s degree preferably within industrial economics, economics, business- and\/or contractual administration, law or other relevant discipline.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 5 years working experience from contract and commercial management or from a similar role within the renewables sector.<\/li>\n<li>Commercial mindset and contractual understanding, with a good knowledge of legal concepts relevant to the industry.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with relevant contract standards such as FIDIC in offshore wind T&amp;I contracts and\/ or BIMCO is an advantage.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to effectively negotiate, along with high professional standards of written and spoken English are essential for the role.<\/li>\n<li>Subsea industry experience and\/or technical understanding may be an advantage, but not a requirement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Personal qualifications<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Self-motivated with the ability to work efficiently as an individual as well as part of a multi-disciplined team.<\/li>\n<li>Possess an eye for detail with an ability to produce work of a high standard and accuracy.<\/li>\n<li>Our values are important to us, and therefore we hope that you can recognize yourself in these as well: We ACT with a can-do Attitude.
